Haven't heard anything about a CD release yet though, which is a disappointment for me. Although it appears Hans only wrote the main theme? Amazon now have previews of the game soundtrack though if you like paying for MP3s from videogames:

Gotta say, I love the Main Theme, Lair of Kaos, Cube Dungeon (I have an idea of what that level is.....) and Crawling Crypt.

i expected the main theme to the skylanders to be a little more....heroic.

At least the music sounds good so far, even if Zimmer didn't write all of it

I like the soundtracks a lot, they remind me of some movies or old videogames.
These are some of the the kinds of soundtracks I like.

Just looked on wikipedia on Lorne Balfe and on google.
They have composed music together in other projects/video games as well.
I'm just listening to the samples now...

Same here along with the Arkeyan Armory,and I'm liking the small samples of the soundtrack so far.
It it me or does Treetop Terrace sound similar to a track (in parts) that was in AHT?

...Wow. THIS is some awesome stuff. The main theme is a bit unexpected, but in spite of... or, perhaps, because of that, it's brilliant.

The music in this game sounds a lot like that of Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex... IMO.

I love the music. Wonderful music, makes me more excited for the game, since one of the main things that matter to me is music.
One reason I like Classics more than LoS.

I like the music, I never really mind the music from games unless they are really annoying, but this sounds cool! I am so excited for this game! Gamestop says it comes out today (it's midnight here, so technically it comes out today) and I might buy it, I currently have just a bit over 200 dollars in trade in credit, so I'll buy the 3DS version. I can't wait. I might also buy the OST, I like buying the soundtracks for games I really am excited for.

Since you mentioned about "Lair of Kaos"... I assume you've completed that stage? I am stuck at the (second) gate with 3 keys. I can only find 1 and cannot proceed. How do you get past the gate?
