This got me thinking, Do the Skylanders all work at same place while protecting their lands and if they do will they know each other if not at least be understandable to know someone of their same class (Wrecking ball knowing his vampire undead)

Personally I want it to be a workplace environment/School.

Spyro: The leader of these rookies
Trigger Happy: Chaotic Good
Grill Grunt: Cute Geek
Sonic Boom: Mama Bear

these are just examples and all but what do you think?

It seems that the Skylanders already know each other prior to the events of the game, since they've been protecting Skylanders for generations. In each backstory, it mentions that they came from someplace in Skylands before joining the Skylanders, like Eruptor originating from deep underground, Zap and Gill Grunt having lived in the seas, Stump Smash residing in magical forests.

It's highly possible that when Kaos attacks, all the Skylanders rush to one place to defend their home in the game.

I could picture Eruptor and chop chop getting along fine

I see a strong friendship between Ignitor and Chop Chop, given that they are both knights of some kind, and so maybe share similar values of courage, chivalry, honor, and other knightly things.

From the story trailer it seems Spyro is familiar with Trigger Happy and Grunt

i wonder if spyro knows cynder :/ alot of the skylanders werent in the trailers so they are less important?

They probably know each other at some point before the events of the game's storyline. We only saw short clips of the characters before they were banished from Skylands after all.
