Does the VA of the thieves sound familiar? I think I've heard it somewhere else, but I'm not sure.

Tom Kenny must have voiced them because they sound like Spongebob.

The thieves still sound similar from Spyro 3, and even earlier, Spyro 1.

That's because they reused the voice recording of the thieves from the first three Spyro games.
