Toys for bob shows us how adding characters in Skylanders works.

New gameplay element sighted...Hats! Not only they're cute for the characters to wear on, they also effect level stats of the character. These things are found in treasure chests within the world of Skylanders.

Huh. . . Its like LBP. . . a little. I've played that game with my younger siblings once. If this is how Skylanders is going to be like. . . not bad I guess. Not exactly brain inducing or innovative stuff you can do within the game, but it looks like your average adventure style co-op game.

Still not liking the birdseye view though.

Wait a minute....ten hours per champion/character....thats awesome! That means the starter pack is up to 30 hours of gameplay to do 100% and 300 if you would go as far as to complete them all. I know there are some barriers in making this seem the same way for everyone like its similarities to LBP, but im rlly enjoying this.

Yeah, the hats is the only flaw.

Remember the target audience? There are other accessories in the game other than hats.

Has everyone here liked the game the whoe time, or just recently?

So this is an action RPG, eh?

To me, it's a hack and slash game with minor RPG and puzzle elements.

Form what I got while playing it, you are able to customize your character in a certain fashion. Of course the gameplay of LBP to this is completely different. The hats reminded me of that.

It's different in LBP. The costumes don't have any affects on gameplay, and you can switch clothes on the fly, using the Popit Menu.

What you see in Skylanders is much more comparable to the Scenario Campaign in Tekken 6.
In Tekken 6, you can customize each fighters clothing, with all sorts of things. However, in the game's Scenario Campaign mode, 5 of your clothes/accessories can grant upgrades at any time. However, only clothes you find within Scenario Campaign will have special attributes, and these attributes do not affect the Classic 1-on-1 gameplay.

Thing that I find funny is that the customization here does not look as great as Tekken 6's Scenario Campaign. It should be better.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the hats. But, hey, they aren't that bad. Overall, I'm really looking foward to the game......except........there's no jump button.........

A lot of other games didn't have the jump button.
