Rule 63 of the Internet states:
Whatever it is, if it is male or neuter, there is a female version of it.
Whether you like Skylanders or not, one thing is evident as of now: there are not enough girls in it. Of the 32 characters announced, so far we have seen exactly two girls (Stealth Elf and her orange-skinned clone who is as yet unnamed). Since there are so few girls, I thought it would be fun to make some of our own out of the characters we already have.
Basically, this thread is for anyone who wants to take an existing male character from Skylanders and make him a female. It doesn't matter if you can draw or not (you can write stories, too ). Just be sure to keep it clean (if you wouldn't show it to your grandmother or a class of first graders, don't post it here).
I can't remember who gave me the idea to start with (I think it was CAV), but someone wanted to see a female Trigger Happy. It sounded like a fun challenge, so...

Why did I have to mention Trigger Happy possibly being female? =P
Seriously though, I REGRET NOTHING! Nice work. And for Rule 63, don't forget the vice versa. |

That's not a part of rule 63. The male version of that is rule 74 (whatever it is, female or neuter, there is a male version of it), and I'd rather not deal with it here (since Skylanders is already a sausage fest, not unlike LoS, only somewhat better since there are at least two females of note and not just one ).

Ah. My mistake then. I remember Rule 63 having vice versa as a piece.
Odds are they'll be more females by the time all of them are announced. And once again, DLC. |

I can't draw to save my life. When I was a little kid, I would try to find out whether or not I'm lefty or righty. I ended up screwing up my hand, and even though I write with my right, the motion I use is one that would be used for the left. So basically, my handwriting sucks, and so does my drawing.
I'd much rather put time and effort into my acting and VA. |

I'm poor at drawing, but some people have told me I'm good.
My only problem I really have is getting the eyes/face right - I just can't get it right, in terms of eye placement. I've done the whole tutorial with the circle and lines, but I just can't do it. Voice acting wise, I'm already on databases for that kind of thing. I can do a load of different voices, so I'm versatile XP

The actual work I produce in the end is apparantly well liked, both my art and stories, but there is something about the production of them that convinces me I'm bad. And you're lucky! For some reason, I always sound different when I'm on a microphone. My friend thinks I'm great though. He always gets me to do Family Guy impressions, and some guys I hardly know once got me to do Peter Griffin. And my sister seems to love the goofy voices that I make up!

The last time I tried drawing is at age 12. And I sucked. So I gave up.
I was never given a chance to voice act. Nobody ever offered me it, and the microphone I use sucks. So nobody knows how I am, and I don't know if people say I'm good or not. The fan-made film would be my first role, and even that is slowly dying with computer troubles. I want to land a role. |

Get a mic and upload a fandub onto YouTube. I might be doing that soon. My sister had this High School Musical Karaoke game for the Wii, and the mic peripheral works with my computer, and has good quality, so I thought i'd try using that.

Big four? o.o I know Shalone is one of them, and apparently CASF, but who are the other big Spyro artists?
My favorite Spyro artists are Mischef/Lord of Sheeps, SFRB, Lawzy, and Mythologica. Those guys are awesome and they're all very friendly people. Also, thanks Spyroo and SB. GM_76's total lack of tact up there has been bugging me a bit, so I really appreciate your comments. |

Oh, I'm not particularly bothered if people don't like my art; they're allowed. I certainly don't like it. It's just the way she worded it. I rather hope she doesn't talk to people like that off-line (it's the best way to loose a few teeth in the real world o.O).

The big four are Shalone_SK, CASF, SFRB, and you, Razz!
You four seem to be the most well known Spyro artists. Heck, when you type Spyro or Cynder in to Google, sometimes your name is in the suggestions! I don't think what GM said was bad. They just said it wasn't their thing.

Huh, go figure. I knew people liked my stuff (it shows up in enough fan videos ) but I had thought they'd moved on from me at this point.
Again, it's not necessarily what GM was saying as how she said it. It was unbelievably rude. I've seen people kicked out of public events for less off-line and I don't really get why people think it's okay to be that impolite online. |
CAV Platinum Sparx Gems: 6289 |
#41 Posted: 21:22:46 14/03/2011
Nope. Your name still appears as one of the top results. You credit yourself as the original Cyndork. Sorry, but that's a title that's not going to go away, no matter how much you hate Cynder nowadays.
I didn't find it that rude. If you do consider it extremely rude, then I guess I was banned from that site for good reason, since I always talked like that. If I wasn't impressed with something, I was going to say it, regardless of if it comes out blunt or not. I wasn't going to be like everyone else and say something is fantastic when it's not. *shrug* |

Same here, CASF is my fave from the four too, followed very, very closely by Razz. And I think it was the way she said it, CAV. It was no better than someone saying to her 'Why do you waste your time and money collecting the same game in different regions'. To someone who doesn't collect, that's fine, but to a collector, that's very rude.

Yep, Spyroo's got it right. To someone who doesn't draw for a living, it's not a big deal, but it'd be like me saying I think your voice acting is mediocre at best after only having heard your test reel. (I don't really think that, btw. I've never heard your voice acting, but I'm sure it's fine. ) Heck, even Stoker (who is a very laid back guy) was really ticked off when he read GM's comment.
