DS Portal? :S [CLOSED]

Since a DS/3DS version is supposedly being made, how will the portal and toys work with it? Will there be another way of using it with portable systems, since the portal would be inconvenient.

Maybe there will be some kind wire or download you're gonna have to use from another console for it to work? :S

Maybe, the DS's are pretty sensitive. I've been able to get pretty far from my router and stay connected.

^Poke-walker? That's a good idea. In my classroom there are four persons who always use it. Even during the lessons, they beat it on the desk. smilie

Maybe they'll ditch the idea completely in favor of some generic side scroller. I wouldn't be surprised.

I hope using the portal doesnt suck your battery dry. Wi-fi really hammers my power on the DS.

The 3DS versions could use the trading cards like the AR Cards to activate characters. It would be even cooler if we got some brand-new AR cards for it. A Gill Grunt Nintendog would be sooooooooo unbelievably A-DAW-U-BLE I'd just die! smilie

Actually, 3DS games can take advantage of AR cards. A perfect example would be Nintendogs + Cats. It uses AR cards to let you take a photo of your dog wearing a hat like Kirby or Link and take an augmented picture of them. I don't see why SSA can't do something similar... Somehow. It could definitely pull it off somehow.

When SK was leaked, it said it would be for DS, but so far SSA has no mention for a normal DS version...
