Edit:I forgot to mention,this will be a War/Romance book.
Prologue
Spyro has defeated the evil within himself and the land is once again in peace,but Spyro is still consumed with grief over the things he did.
While Cynder is trying to bring him out of his isolated state she is also struggling with her own feelings.What neither of them know is that the world will need them once again very soon......

Chapter1
The Kingdom of Dallon

On planet Earth,on the European continent, during the year 1542 lied the kingdom of Dallon.This kingdom had done much conquering and killing ever since the good king died and his evil wife Victoria took over.Here is where a small scouting force would soon discover something that would change history.

"Don't you ever get tired of this liutenent?",one of the two scouts asked the other.

"Tired of what?",the other one asked back.

"Arent you tired of going out on all these useless scouting missions?","We never find anything."

"Well it isnt up to us,ok?""Lets check out that cave over there."They walked over to a dark cave and lit some torches they brought with them.They marched through it untill they saw light on the other side.

"Wow",the liutenent excliamed,"Look at this place!"

"Do you think we should report this?",the other one said.

"Yeah but first lets...",the liutenent started then stopped at the sight of a large green dragon flying above."Quick lets get out of here before that dragon notices us."

They started to run back into the cave with torches still lit."Wait,"the other said,"I thought dragons were a myth."

"I did too,"the Liutenent said,"It seems we were wrong!"
Then they continued running to report the new territory they had found and the unbelievalbe sight they had seen.

Chapter2
Feelings

Cynder was heading to Spyro's room once again.She was bringing him his meal as usual.She was very saddened,not becuase she was delivering food,but becuase she hated seeing Spyro in his isolated state.

Every since he came back from The Chronicler's temple and got forgiven for the things he done(After a short confrence with the important members of Warfang)all he'd done was sit in his room filled with sadness.He just couldn't seem to forgive himself.

Some kept asking her why she was doing all of this for him.She had just told them that she does it becuase she cares about him,but it was more then that.She loved him and it was one of her greatest fears that he might not love her back.She quickly shook away the thought.Sure he loves meshe thought to herselfHis actions have shown that


She knocked on his door.

"Come in Cynder",Spyro said.It was easy for him to know it was her becuase she was his only visitor anymore.His other friends have tried to cheer him up but eventually decided that leaving him alone and letting him overcome it himself was the best thing to do.

Cynder set down some meat for him.She saw he hadnt eaten all his breakfast.He was starting to eat less and less.True it had only been 4 days so far but this would be a hazard to his health if not stopped.

"Thanks Cynder",Spyro said in a dull tone,but instead of eating he just continued gazing out the window.

"Why dont we go around the city for ahwile?"Cynder asked for the third time.

Spyro's answer was the same."No thanks."Spyro knew it was bad for his mental and physical health to sit up here but he just didnt care anymore.It just would'nt feel right to go out there and act like nothing had happened.He couldnt even look Cynder in the eye anymore.

Then Hunter came into the room."I hope I'm not interrupting,"he said."But you wont believe what we just found out."

Great set up chapter, I really feel the connection between Spyro and Cynder.

This is becoming really interesting.

Chapter3
More Dragons?

Flame was in awe seeing this huge city for the first time.He was a part of a clan made up of about 20 other dragons.They had lived on the other side of the planet for years sepperated from the rest of their species.There was once more of them but war had plagued their side of the planet as well.

Flame then took a quick look over at Ember one of his last friends.The two of them were a few of the lucky ones and they had survived many battles together despite their young age.

There was also Gleen,who Flame also knew.Gleen was a little younger then Flame and had never been in a battle yet becuase the older dragons thought he was too weak for war.

Besides for them Flame had nobody.His father was killed 5 years ago in a dragon civil war.His mother had passed recently becuase of an illness.He didnt bother to try and make new friends anymore becuase of fear that they would soon be killed anyway,but maybe here at the Dragon City life would be diffrent.

They approached the gate."Alright everyone!",their leader Fraz called."I must speak with the elders who control this city wait out here.Flame soon got bored and wondered off away from the others.Then he stumbled upon a strange artifact with writing on it.It read:

"When the door opens the two shall meet"
"They shall cause each other much grief"
Then after

The rest was in a strange writing Flame could not read.He then heard his name being called.He took the artifact and headed towards his new life.

I like were this is going! I look forward to more.

Chapter4
Report

The human scouting force entered the queen's chamber.

"You may speak,"the queen said.

They were both so frightened that they were talking really fast at the same time and made it very hard to understand them.

"One of you tell me what happened,"the queen said obviously annoyed.

The liutenent being senior rank spoke up."We searched through a cave just west of the castle your majesty when we exited we were in a strange new land."

"What about this land was so urgent that you had to interupt my meal to tell me?",the queen asked.

"We saw a dragon,"the liutentent answered.This was followed by many gasps of surprise amongst the others in the queens chamber.

The queen did not have a look of fear but one of intrest.

She addressed the kingdoms tacticain Callion Mallison,"Take a small warband and confirm that this land real does have a dragon."

The tactician bowed and walked out to find some men.The queen then turned to the grand commander of the kingdom's army."Prepare a large strike force so we will be ready to attack if this report is true."She then got a devious look in her eyes."I have a plan."

"Yes Queen Victoria,"Grand Commander Geon answered.He then pointed at a few members of his staff."You,You follow me,"he barked at them."We have work to do."

Good stuff!

Chapter5
Introductions
Flame and Ember were wondering around Warfang.After lot's of exploring Ember wanted to find someone their age to talk to.She saw a black dragoness that looked exactly the same age as them but Flame still didnt seem into making new friends.

"I dont know,"Flame said,"You know I'm shy around strangers."

"Come on flame,"Ember replied,"Everyone is nice here,"but Flame just mumbled something and stood there.

"What happened to the out going,fun loving Flame I used to know?"Ember asked,"Fine i'll go talk to her,you can stay here by yourself if you want."

Ember walked over to the black dragoness who seemed to be looking for something.

"What are you doing?",Ember asked.

The black dragoness was startled at first but then she replied,"Nothing,just searching for someone,"She replied,"Have you seen a purple dragon anywhere?"

"You know a purple dragon?"Ember asked in surprise.

The black dragoness blushed a little."Yeah",she replied,"Were really good freinds."

"Well we dont have anything else to do,"Ember said,"Lets go search for him."

"Okay,"the black dragoness replied.

"My name is Ember by the way."

"Mine's Cynder,"


In the woods outside of Warfang..............

Callion and his 4 person warband had been spying around for half the day now and had managed to be unseen.What they found was astonishing,not one dragon was in this land but many.He wondered how they were supposed to invade this land with all of them around.

They were hiding behind some bushes right now.They then spotted a little she dragon,proboly somewhere from 3 to 6 years in age.She was all by herself happily exploring the woodland.

"I'll take this one,"one of Callion's men said.

"Kill a young one?",Callion asked in surprise,"Have you no honor?"Callion wanted to see dragons get slain too but he hated when innocent children were killed no matter what race they are,But the soldeir ingnored his commander and walked towards the unsuspecting dragoness.She noticed him but he stepped on one of her wings before she could escape.The helpless little girl squelled in terror.

Not too far away Spyro was walking through the woods trying to get away from all the exictement at the dragon city.He heard the squel and ran towards it.He saw a strange creature stepping on a little dragoness wing and he had a sword drawnoh no,Spyro thought,He's going to kill her,I have to do something

Spyro was torn on what to do.He didnt want to fight but he couldnt let the poor little girl die.

The human was getting ready to step the dragoness when Spyro popped out of the trees and pushed him back.The scared little girl didnt know where else to go so she quickly hid behind Spyro.

The human charged at Spyro."No!,Stop you fool!"Callion cried in desperation but it was too late.The human tried to attack Spyro but Spyro unleashed fire on the human.

The soldier was on the ground covering his face screaming in pain.His fellow men picked him up and started running.Callion did the same.They now had more terrorizing news to report.

The young female dragon rubbed her head on Spyro's leg."Thank you,"she said.

Spyro picked her up and set her down on his back."Come on",he said,"Let's go find your parents."

Interesting so far, looking forward to more.

Great story. So all this time, on the other side of the world were humans?

Not exactly.The humans come from a completely diffrent world and the cave some how connects the two.I will explain this better in one of the books in a series I plan to start after this fan-fic is finished.

Chapter6
Deep thought

Spyro walked out of the woods toward the towering gates of Warfang which were wide open.The young dragoness he had rescued was still on his back and still seemed a bit shakened about what happened earlier.

What were those creatures?,Spyro asked himself.He saw a dragon couple just outside the gates and they seemed to be looking for something.When Spyro walked up it was clear that they were the dragoness's parents.

"Oh,"the mother said in relief,"You found Tyra."She took her child and set the dragoness on the ground beside her.

"Where did you find her?",the father asked.

"Out in the woods to the east,"Spyro replied,"Now I have to report something to the elders."Spyro started to walk into Warfang when the father said.......

"There has to be something we can do to repay you"

"You dont have to do that,"Spyro said and started walking again.

"Thank you,"both of the parents called out as Spyro walked through the city.

Spyro had to tell the elders about this.It was clear that these strange creatures were voilent.As he was walking through town he began to get lost in thought.

What would of happened if he was sulking in his room when this was going on?The poor little dragoness would have died.Spyro relised the price that could be payed if he didnt get on with his life,and with these creatures the world might need him again.

Then he started to think about Cynder.All this time he was so focused on himself he didnt stop to think about her feelings.Were her emotions getting hurt too?He also thought about how Cynder admitted to loving him,about how he loved her too but had always been to scared to admit it.Tonight I am going to change that,he promised himself.

He then pushed open the doors to the meeting room and to tell the bad news.

Good story.

Chapter7
A night of Romance

Spyro's report to the elders quickly became a long meeting.After a long and tiring debate the elders decided they would rebuild the military in case the creatures attacked again.It wasnt untill Spyro finished up that evening that he remembered his plan to tell Cynder how he felt.

He still wasnt sure how he was going to tell her but he would figure something out.He also needed to find her first.Spyro found Hunter outside of the the city hall.

"Hunter,do you know where Cynder is?",Spyro asked.

"She got back not long ago,"Hunter answered,"It looked like she was heading for her room.""Something really seemed to be bothering her."

"I'll talk to her,"Spyro said,"Thanks Hunter."He then started walking toward Cynder's room.

He decided it was a good time to think about what he was going to say to her.Should he just come out and say that he loves her first thing or maybe he should see whats bothering her first.He was so nervous.

By the time he was at Cynder's room he still didnt know what he was going to do.The door was open so he walked right in.Cynder was laying outside on a balcony.

"Hello Cynder",he said.

Cynder seemed a little surprised but said,"Hi Spyro,"back."Where were you today she asked?",sounding a little annoyed at how he just disseapered on her.

"I was taking a walk through the woods,then I had to report something to the elders."

"What happened?"Cynder asked.

"I'll tell you later,"Spyro responded.

There was a period of silence for awhile untill Spyro said,

"Cynder there is something else I want to tell you"

"What is it Spyro?"Cynder asked.

Now Spyro was starting to clam up.Come on,stop being a coward,he thought to himself.Just say it.

"Well....ummm...see Cynder the thing is,"Spyro was choking out the words,"I love you."

He almost instantly saw the happiness in Cynder's eyes."You dont know how long Ive been waiting for you to say that,"Cynder said in a soft tone.

Then both of their faces slowly moved forward untill their lips touched and they kissed.They werent sure how long they stayed that way,enjoying the moment.When they finnally broke their kiss Spyro and Cynder gazed happily at each other then looked out at the starry night.

Chapter8
Final Preperations

Callion and his group continued back to Dallon.When they got to the front gates one of the queen's messangers was there.

"Her majesty orders you to report to her immediatly,"the man said.

"Yes,but first find this man a doctor,"He pointed at the soldier who tried to fight the purple coloured dragon but got burned in the face by the monster's fire breath.

The messanger nodded and helped the injured soldier to the medic camp.Callion and the other to members of his scouting force continued on to the queen's chamber.

"Report Callion,"Queen Victoria ordered as they entered.

"There isnt one dragon in that land,"Callion said,"There are many."

"How many",the queen asked.

"We counted at least 10 before we had to turn back,they're may be more,"Callion answered.

"Grand Commander Geon will be waiting for you in the training camp,"the queen said,"He needs your help with the final preparations.""Tommarow morning we will launch a full attack on that land,"she ordered,"You may steal any valuebles you find and slay as many dragons as you like but...."She then put on an eerie smile,"Bring me a dragon hide so that we may show are enemies the might of our armies."

"Yes ma"m,"Callion said with respect.He then bowed and walked out as the queen began a sinister laugh.

Thanks everyone.Im really sorry but tonight got really busy and I didnt have time to get the next chapter ready.(I have to wake up early tommarow so I cant stay up late and finish it)I will try and post 2 tommarow to make up for it.

I know this is late but it was the best I could do.Here is the two chapters I promised.


Chapter9
A strange assualt

Cynder was walking through Warfang the next day thinking about last night.She was so happy and relieved to find out the Spyro loved her too.She also couldnt stop thinking about the kiss they shared.She was completely lost in her happy thoughts when she heard a yell.

She ran in the direction to find where it came from.She came to a back alley and saw a dragon on the ground.When she got closer she say a red colored dragon on the ground.He was badly injured.

Cynder then regonised who it was.It was Ember's friend Flame.She ran out of the alley to get help.Strangely enough it was Ember she found first.

"Hi Cynder,"Ember said,"Have you seen Flame anywhere."

"Yes,"Cynder answered,"He is hurt real bad,follow me."

The two ran to the alley where Flame was.There was much worry in Ember's eyes when she saw her best friend like this.

Cynder thought quickly then said,"You stay with him,I'll go get help."

Cynder quickly ran back to the town and got some people to help carry Flame to the medic area.

Chapter10
A traitor

"Well he will live,"the doctor said.

Terrador,Cynder,and Ember were all in the medic area while the doctor finished his examantion.This was good news but the doctor seemed to have something else on his mind.

"Terrador can I speak with you?",he asked and pointed his head toward his office.

Terrador followed the doctor into his office while Cynder and Ember waited outside with the knocked out Flame.

"You're still worried about him arent you?",Cynder asked Ember.

"Yes,we have been through a lot of fights together,"Ember answered,"But ive never seen him this injured."

Flame injuries were extensive.He had mutlitple cuts and bites all over his body and something had hit him in the head as well,but the bleeding had stopped and he was still breathing.

"You heard the doctor,"Cynder said trying to comfort Ember,"He will be fine."

"I hope so,"Ember said getting tears in her eyes.

"What is it you wanted to ask doctor,"asked Terrador inside of the doctor's office.

"After examining Flame's wounds,"the doctor said,"I decided that he must of been attacked by another dragon."

"What?!",Terrador asked shocked by the thought of this,"What makes you think that?"

"The bite and claw marks match up exactly to that of a dragon,"the doctor answered.

"Then that means one thing,"Terrador said,"We have a traitor among us."

Chapter11
Framed

It was now late night at Warfang.Spyro was prowling the grounds looking for anything strange.The elders had asked him to do this becuase of the attack on Flame.They wanted to quickly find the traitor before he did any more damage.

He then heard a female scream.He ran in the direction of it only to find the body of a green dragoness lying there dead.She was only a little older then he is.

He saw a strange dragon on top of a building,"Who are you?!"Spyro asked in a commanding tone.

The dragon then turned and started going the other way.

"Oh no you dont,"Spyro said before leaping up in the air to the rooftops.

The other dragon began to run.Spyro began chasing him but then stepped in something.It was red,wasnt blood but it sure looked like it.
I will wash that later,Spyro decided.

The strange dragon stopped by an edge,what Spyro didnt relise was that they had made a complete circle in their chase and were on the rooftop standing over the dead body.

The strange dragon made a threatening motion towards Spyro.Spyro tried to tackle the dragon even though it was larger then him.The strange dragon got out of the way and Spyro fell down right beside the dragoness's body.The fall knocked him out.

When he woke up he saw another dragon standing over him with a digusted look.

Spyro remembered about the body,"This isnt what i..........",He started to explain but the dragon interuppted him.

"Its pretty clear what happened here,"he said,"Catch him boys,"Then some moles popped out of hiding and tossed a large net onto Spyro.

Soon Spyro was loaded up onto a wagon.

"Now,"the adult dragon said,"Lets see what the elders have to say about this."

Those stupid as* moles! Let me at them let me at them! >=(

Chapter12
The dark magician

Back on Earth the dark magician Galvor rode on his horse and watched the armies of Dallon slowly march through the cave that led to the other universe.It was going to take a long time becuase the cave was small and they had many troops.

It did not matter to the magician though,his dark powers expanded his life so much that time was meaningless to him now,but it did not seem long ago when he discovered his powers,that was also the same day Geon saved his life.

Afterwards he decided he would serve Geon.First helping him move up in rank by causing the former grand commander's "accident" that killed him.Now Geon was in control of the army and Galvor helps him in all of his campaigns.

Galvor wondered how his agent in the other universe was doing.Galvor had the abitly to brainwash other beings,and he had recently brainwashed one of the dragons in that universe to cause as much chaos as possible.

He then felt a presence nearby.He turned to see a light magician looking right at him........


Sorry this chapter was short.I will have more tommarow morning.

Chapter13
A Battle/Locked Up

Galvor turned to face the light magician that had appeared.

"Who are you?"he asked.

"I am the one who is going to stop you",the light magician replied.

"Just try it!",Galvor yelled before shooting a dark beam out of his hand at the light magician.The light magician dodged it and shot light beams at Galvor the same way.Galvor was hit.The light magicain kept hitting him with more light energy.

Then Galvor hit the ground and it sent a shockwave that made the light magician go flying in the air.Galvor hit him with a couple dark beams that knocked him to the ground.The light magician got back up and created a cyclone of light and it spun towards Galvor.

Galvor used his energy and leaped through the cyclone knocking the light magician out of it.

"I will be back!"The light magician said before disseapering.

"Heheh",The dark magician laughed to himself.

"Get in there!,"a guard yelled as he tossed Spyro inside of his cell.Then locking the door.

"Im sorry about this Spyro,"Terrador said as he looked through the small window in the cell door."But we have to keep you here untill your're proven innocent."

"Terrador im telling you,I was framed,"Spyro said desperately.

"I wish I could believe you,"Terrador said before walking away.

So Spyro sat alone in his cold,dark cell.He then remembered something else thy said at the trial.If Spyro is not proven innocent in 3 days then,he will be executed.
