A lot of you may be aware that you can access a demo of Crash Bash in Spyro 3 by holding L1, R1 and Square at the main menu but you probably didnt know that theres a Cheat Menu which allows you to play the whole game except the bonus warp room.

Here is how you activate the Cheat Menu in the demo:
When you first get to the main menu, press the following sequence: Left, Right, Left, Right(2), Left, Right(3), Left, Right(4), Left, Right(5). Make sure you input it correctly because you will not get a confirmation sound in some versions of the game. After that, just start up a game and pause to find the cheat menu at the bottom.

Here are the cheat codes:
LEVEL SELECTOR - Self-explanatory.
CHEAT FLAGS - Lets you use such cheats as invulnerability, freezing the timer, making your opponents brain-dead and so on. Use left or right to enable a cheat. Cheats that are active are marked with an asterisk (*).
TWEAK SETTINGS - This is a more complex sub-menu that allows you to change the game's internal settings, as well as the mode you're playing. To change modes, use the very first option in this sub-menu. This allows you to quickly alternate between a Trophy to a Crystal challenge, for example. To test it out, press the Select button to restart the level with your changes applied.
TWEAK AWARDS - Treat yourself with every prize there is to collect. You know you want it.
VIEW STATS - View the statistics for every player and level in the game.
ADJUST LEVEL - Adjust some of the gameplay features in a few levels such as Dash races.

Even if you already have Crash Bash theres some differences in the demo which you didn't see in the final game. In Space Bash there's the giant 'Cortex for mayor' billboard from Crash Bandicoot 3. Space Bash's crystal challenge is set in Egypt instead of the usual arena. Drain Bash has a different background. The final boss against Nitros Oxide is totally different. It all takes place in a dark cloud world.

And best of all.........
When you do the Big Bad Fox boss, the Komodo Brothers' boss icons will be replaced by Homer and Bart Simpson!

Odd thing I discovered, when I beat the Komodo Brothers, I ended up back in the warp room, stuck in the centre and only being able to run backwards into space.

It won't work. Does it have to be on PS1 or PS2 or either?

Either and it does work.

The options in the menu appear invisible here but only because its being played on ePSXe emulator. You'll see the menu fine on your console.

I'll have to try that and confirm if it works on a downloaded Spyro 3 on my PS3, I bought the game on the PSN and it might be modified...

Not that I have any real interest in this, mind, but for documentation purposes it would be useful, I guess.

I always loved Crash Bash! I will have to try this cheat when I play Spyro 3 again.

In the Crash Bash demo you can play everything except the final boss and the mini-games from
warp room 5.

Imo Crash Bash sucks, because they use my favourite boss theme, Dingodile's one, in my least favourite boss, Nitrous Oxide's fight. Thank you for attention.

Did you read the post describing how to get the cheat menu? When you get to the Big Bad Fox level via the cheat menu in the Crash Bash Demo in Spyro 3, and then get to the end of the boss, the place where it normally shows the Komodo Bros faces with their health bars shows Bart and Homer Simpson

I did the cheat with a PS1 controller in a PS2 in the Crash Bash Demo, and it worked fine.

The first few times I tried the cheat code, I thought that it hadn't worked because the cheat menu is hidden in the pause menu where the gems are.
