spyro the eternal night... HELP!!! [CLOSED]

i have just found spyro the eternal night for playstation 2, and i wanted to try it on my playstation 3 because my PS2 broke. but it just goes to the main menu sreen, but doesn't show the menu, and no matter what i do, nothing happens. HALP!!! smilie

If your PS3 is a recently bought new one, then it can't play PS2 games. Which is stupid.

You'll have to get another PS2 to play your PS2 games.

one more thing- i play all my other PS2 games and PS1 games on my PS3, so why won't TLOS the eternal night work?

This happen with some games, have someones what are a little "finicky" to play. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No, because when the PS3 was built they only allowed emulation with PS2 games that had been released before it was made... The only TLoS game that makes that list is ANB...

Indeed, Sony should have either stopped releasing games for the PS2 or released a patch every year that updates your system to run PS2 games that have been released after the PS3...

Yeah, but the PS1 was 'outdated' as they said so they released downloads for all platinum titles...
