Level Warp Cheat, Early Use? [CLOSED]

Hey guys, it's me, Gemini Dazzy, in a really bad mood. Look I was recording Bentley's area in Bamboo Terrace, and I just finished it, I was about to hit the stop record button when my laptop kinda crashed on me. I reloaded it, and saved my game. However I didn't record the footage as I didn't hit the stop record button in time. So now I'm kinda screwed. I want to re record the Bentley bit with the gems. Does the Level Warp Cheat work when you start a new game so I can get there faster? PLEASE HELP.

no i don't think the warp cheat works on a new game, i've tryed it...

The footage is probably saved in memory but the recorder did not add specific parts in the file. If the recorded file is there but unreadable because it was cut short, I would highly recommend salvaging it using VLC and VirtualDUB. (This method saved my ANB playthrough!)

Then again, some recorders delete incomplete files for "crash recovery." In that case, you're wrecked.
