It's good I guess,but the main reason is because it was my first Spyro game.

Duskwolf, don't listen to everything you hear. The game is, yes, probably one of the worst games of the set. It's my second-to-last favorite, the last spot being taken by Spyro- a new beginning for GBA. The plotline sucks and the glitches are unexcapable (though the swimming one's pretty fun), as well as the loading taking FOREVER. However, the graphics are pretty good and some of the levels are actually quite clever and fun to play. I say- don't play it to win the game because it's just not worth it, but if you want some kick-butt minigames you can go right ahead.

Only get it if you're rich and have money to chuck away on things you don't need. It really is a bad game.

I didn't particularly enjoy it but everyone has their own opinions so if you want to try it out, go right ahead. Warning: Loading takes forever!

I never read any of the online reviews when I played it D: Though you're probably right

The framerate just got me real dizzy from the start. The glitches were funny though. Spyro was really slow and some glitches actually prevented you from getting further in the game. I don't think you need online reviews to tell you this game is bad.

But if you really want to try it, do it. Just give it a rent first or get a used copy just in case you don't like it.

Not really. I didn't call it bad until I played it. I'd heard it was bad, but I firmly reserved judgment until I had played it and it was worse than I had been led to believe.

Probably true, but I can honestly say I got mine pretty much as soon as it came out and read no reviews about it, and still think it's a terrible, terrible game.

I really enjoyed it.

It was my first orginal spyro game, put me off him for a bit untill i got a heros tail.

I was wondering (since yes, I am getting the game) which version works better: the normal version or the Greatest Hits version (for the PS2).

All of the characters look like molesters, Spyro at the top of this list.
It's a creepy game in my opinion.
The only reason I play it is for the swimming in the air glitch. It's so messed up it's entertaining for a while. You can skip the entire game up to the battle with Ripto just by swimming under the Dragon Realms and up through the Black Hole.
