The reason why I think this will fail outside of being a game movie is that because it has dragons in it as the central characters.

And being that all Hollywood uses dragons for are killing, this movie will be given the worst treatments you can ever imagine.

(No offense, BlackDragonAJ89) but we know that you've stated numerous times that the movie will be crap and that Hollywood hates dragons. It's getting a little irritating. We already know that you hate the movie and there's no need to keep rambling on about it when we have no screenshots, interviews or any evidence of the kind.

You didn't give us a good reason why you hate the movie just because you think that Hollywood hates dragons. Seriously, we have no proof whatsoever. You just gave us an angry rant with nothing to back it up. Bring evidence whenever you want to state things like this.

You know I'm having that gut feeling too. It will be so awsome to go to the Spyro movie, But It won't be even close to how we imagined it.

I think there will be alot of disappointed fans.

I'm going to say this once: If you want to go see it then go, if not, then don't. But for ten bucks plus another two for the glasses to see a movie based off something you enjoy a lot, it wouldn't kill you just to see it. I have this problem where I think "this will suck", and guess what? It actually was a fun experience.

That's my opinion, but you never know if you're right or wrong if you don't try it first.

I'm always a skeptic though.

Indeed, you have some point there... it's just that I don't expect them to get anything right.

Yeah that's the one problem, no one at sierra/activision is stepping up to make it more... acceptable to the fans' taste. I mean, many others who made movies based off games had no or very little knowledge and have to play the WHOLE game/series to understand.

On an extra note, the producers Graham and Wilson, actually wrote the screenplay/script for the the whole trilogy (see each of the game's credits). I can't believe they didn't take a few sheets from that.

look at the Eragon movie, vile film that disregarded the book but great reviews and brought in millions of dollars.

I hope it's not to similar to Eragon. It was a good movie, but I hope Spyro has more of a cartoony style to it.

URGH Eragon was vile, it completely ignored half the book's plot and went off on its own. It'd have been better as a standalone product not something off of a book.

I've never read the book, I have patience, but I don't have time.

I agree, it shall fail. The first thing that will make this movie fail is that he is Purple. Purple= Little Kids, not Teens.

Uh, purple dragon =/= stuff for little kids. Heck, Spyro could be any color almost and appeal to kids whilst appeal to adults if he's got a more "mature" looking design.

After all, I'm pretty sure Malefor wasn't designed to be suitable for kids (or he was supposed to scare the holy living **** out of them, one of the two).

Hey, Spyro just playing in his element (marketing schemes), so I think it might actually work (falling into the so-bad-its-good-category).

Yeah...I never had the idea about the movie failing....I mean when I look at the poster for it, in my opinion Spyro looks awful..hope i didn't go against anyones feelings but...thats what I think.

Last time a movie was made from a game, it stunk.

I seriously hope that this movie doesn't fail. Though I did notice something on the movie page that it talked about a franchise. If this movie doesn't fail, and is acutally representable and good. I think there is a high possibility of another one. But we'll have to wait and see what this movie brings first. With it having the same producers as ERagon, I'm a bit worried about the storyline.
