I thought it could be Hunter (in a plane?), Sgt Bird or perhaps another dragon character.

I'd absolutely love it if Sgt. Byrd was the one who taught Spyro how to fly, or if he at least shows up and gives Spyro some pointers.

i feel like we'll possibly have some sort of tutorial section before spyro gets isekai'd where it'll be portrayed in-game as spyro getting in some "practice". hunter would be funny and in-line with 2 and 3, and sgt. byrd would make a lot of sense as well. i'm gonna be #Different and suggest sparx though, for no real reason other than that it'd be cute.
