Definitely me. Though I'm surprised at the permanent flight aspect. I guess that means it can't be much of a platformer, or at least platforming will have to be inside caves or whatever, where flying would be cumbersome...but I'll be fine with that as long as it has big open worlds filled with lots of fun objectives and a fun storyline to progress through.

I cant nearly believe it, we are finally getting a new Spyro game, this one is day one for sure!

I was saving for GTA6 but no I am getting Spyro 4 the SECOND IT DROPS

I'll be getting it since thankfully it's coming to all platforms including Switch 2. Always worried that when it did get released it would only be on Playstation and Xbox and maybe PC.

Really need to get reignited on the Switch while I'm at it since I don't have a Ps4 anymore.

I'm pre-ordering it on every console it releases on physically. If Switch 2 version ends up being a Game Key Card, I will buy that one digitally. Will get on Steam as well (which is likely where my first playthrough will be).

Will pre-order as soon as it goes up, and will make one of my orders a collector's edition if they do one. I'm so excited.

Not all of it goes to them though. A percentage would also go to TfB, which is their only source of revenue right now. So I guess it ultimately depends on whether or not boycotting MS outweighs supporting TfB for you.

More than likely TFB is contracted by Microsoft to work on the game, meaning they already are getting paid for their work. Probably will get paid even more if the game sells well though.

Well the way I've seen it described is that typically the publisher invests a certain amount up front and then both the publisher and developer get a certain percentage of what the game earns.

But I doubt Toys for Bob would come out unscathed if the game were to completely flop, since they can only last so long off of whatever MS paid them up front, and the game flopping would disincentivize publishers from wanting to fund them going forward (and if they did, I imagine the terms of any contract they make would be a lot less favorable to Toys for Bob).

I feel like I don't wanna hear the answer for most people between "help kids in the middle east get blown up but you get cute dragon game" vs. "you don't give money towards that"

Very interested to get the game, might not be day one depending if I can obtain a good console to play it on!

So glad this game looks like it's coming out for Steam Day 1. As someone without current gen Consoles, it was tortuous waiting for reignited to be ported. Anyone else plan on getting the Steam version?

I'm a little concerned that it might be a bit too different from the original games, but I'll definitely be picking it up day one regardless.

i'm extremely seated and anticipating this game

it'll kinda be my first experience fully experiencing a spyro game because me and my friend used to play some of the old games after i got my hands on them whenever we hung out but never actually got to complete it (i would love to try and go back and do so though!!!) i already sent her the trailer and reminded her of it and we're planning to ACTUALLY complete it this time LOL

i'm so excited!!! it's so good to see the franchise come anew after so many years. hoping i can get it right away!

100%! i'm admittedly a bit nervous about how different it might be from the OG formula, but i've given every other iteration of spyro a fair chance, so i'm happy to do the same here!

A day 1 purchase for me instantly.
