Has anyone else tried a Skylanders nuzlocke? I've tried a few times with my 32 but after a few runs some of my figures started to die out unfortunately. It's decent fun and can get a little tough later on in the game. The Undead levels are the absolute hardest with Molekin Mines and Arkeyan Armory also being pretty nervewracking. I beat the Hydra by an inch of life once, but every other time I ended dying to Skeleton archers or the Undead boss rush.

Anyone else have this idea?

i watched a friend do something similar to this, only she restricted herself to only using one skylander of each element and replacing them with another from that element if that one died. if every skylander from that element died, she wouldn't be able to use that element anymore. it got extremely dicey near the end, i think 5 or 6 died in quick succession in the final level and boss. she also did the same for the rest of the series, though she hasn't finished imaginators yet.

these sorts of runs are genuinely a lot of fun, there are a lot of tense moments and it adds so much interest to a replay. the undead levels are definitely a pain point in the run, those enemies hit hard AND the archers are hard to hit unless you have a skylander with long range abilities that can either early dodge their arrows or is tanky enough to take a hit or two.

I watched the same friend as Polar about watching a Skylanders Nuzlocke (Skylocke) and yeah it's a good time. we were emulating it, so we also went out of the way to not only name the figures unique names but also texture hack them to our hearts content... up to a certain point. shoutout to Ricky Cyrus, a Wrecking Ball thusly named after his burping and that he was a wrecking ball
