Used blue chest

Hello i am new to skylanders and i was thinking about buying a blue chest online to unlock some new imaginator parts. Will a used blue chest work on my game if someone already used it on there game? Thanks for the help

Edit: the blue chest i am referring to is the chest that come with the adventure packs not the RNG chest.

Blue chest is once per profile, I think? My memory is a bit hazy though, might want to check with someone that has one.

One blue chest comes with the Cursed Tiki Temple, and another comes with the Lost Imaginite Mines; they each unlocks a completely different set of pieces. If you're buying one loose, figure where ot came from so you don't get a repeat if you choose to buy a pack.
