a few times my app glitched when i was opening chests and i couldnt click ok to collect the chests, now i cant get anymore chests and im missing items.
how can i fix this? is my data/progress saved to anything if i re-install?
are my creations safe if i try to recover or reset?

I think the only thing you can do at that point is to make an Imaginator with the missing parts in the actual game and copy it over to your phone device.
Otherwise, it's delete & reinstall, which will erase all your saved critters.
