Being in the UK would have only be the start for not being sold online.
He's already been sold in the UK - Smyths Toys had the exclusive and started getting stock around June-ish. Of course, they've since sold out of what stock they were going to order, and now he's gone off of their site.
Anyway, an item being sold through a third-party seller on Amazon is not "official", it's like eBay where anyone can make the listing and sell their stuff, it's not an indicator of anything. Being "fulfilled by Amazon" only means that the seller pays Amazon to use their warehouses, and Amazon ships the items out (but the seller provides the items that they want to sell)
