On a serious note, is it possible to fix this because I had almost 100% on that file... it was my MAIN file anddd it's gone.

How about a look on the bright side? A new play through will give you a chance to level up and upgrade without a grind.

Any tech savvy users know what could cause this?

Wait I can help you out Ryan! Go to settings > system storage management > saved data > media player.

Enter into the Media player folder, there should be a 'corrupt data' saved file that shows up.
Press the Options button and delete the saved corrupt data file.
Now exit. Reopen the Media Player app.

Media Player? Nothing to do with the game.

Corrupted saves happen when you quit the game or shut down the console during an autosave. The crash must have happened during an autosave.

Must remember to wait for little spinny thingy to stop before shutting down console.

Luminous, on the bright side, you basically only have to re-do the story portions of the game, which only takes a few hours. All your unlocked Imaginator parts and in-game achievements should be saved to the *profile* rather than the specific save file.

Sorry it happened though.

PS4 lets you make back up saves to either a USB drive or cloud based (if you have Playstation Plus). If you have Playstation Plus with auto-upload saves on, you might find a copy of your save there.

Wii U lets you make a backup save to USB, but sadly Xbox One and Switch don't give you any options.

I didn't know that PS4 did cloud saves, but I do know that Xbox One does.

I had an issue where I needed to restart Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 because it didn't pull over my data from the first game properly, and it kept re-syncing the cloud save every time I deleted the save on the hard drive. I ultimately had to disconnect my Xbox from the network to start a new save, and then later accept a prompt to overwrite the cloud save with my local one once I got back online.

Fourth was Nightmare. Second was a random extra file for video uses.

Replaying the story mode isn't that big of a deal, since you won't have to grind for anything. Just wait until you're in the mood for a speedrun or whatever.

I guess I'll make a new file and redo the story because it's really not working, and I'll try to get three stars before moving on.
Then I should get my percentage back.

is there others games that is not skylanders to have that new file glitch or just this game
because i have never seen that before...never.

It's happened to me in Superchargers as well. The file came back automatically though.
