They could be colored, the sign part modified to be the element or class, have custom stickers applied, the possibilities are endless.

and its cheap to make, really, really, really cheap......especially if you are Activision.

Even if you were to get in contact with them, they probably won't take the idea since they probably already have things planned out.

Also, you're not part of Activision. You can have all the perfect ideas for a franchise, but unless you're actually on the project, they aren't listening. The devs can even read and maaybe try to push the idea, but they still don't have the final word.

I wouldn't be surprised if their idea submission box is managed by someone that's instructed to toss them into the trash. If your idea is really worth something, you might have to be pretty creative with how you get it off the ground. Good luck!

Well, now I'm depressed.
you guys sure know how to paint a pretty picture.

My Idea is simple, cost effective and will reduce the load on shapeways for the Custom Creations, but easier to show than explain.
I will take pictures and post tomorrow.

I actually had Activision corporate say they will have someone from development contact me on Monday.

I don't wan't to sell this to them, I am not after anything other than to see this game have a better chance at succeeding.
(wouldn't argue over a couple creation codes though )

Looking for support of anyone who has experience in plastics, either injection molding or laser cutting and fabrication.

I am just a fan looking to support his passion and the community.

To board on the "pessimism" train... You say they'll actually get someone from development to contact you? Well, I'm betting they were either saying that to get you off their backs, or that the person you contact with is just gonna be like "Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Yeah. Uh-huh. Okay thanks bye." I'm sorry, but if it were really that easy, then I'd have at least one character from my mind made into an actual Skylander by now.

At the same time however, I'm gonna legitimately wish you the best with this.

I like that detail you added as labels on the crystals

They are real pretty, but this would've been better suggested before the game went gold. Even for small plastic pieces, they wouldn't sell these or get a merch company to reprint some Skylanders-themed, especially with the grim situation at TFB.

Wow, I really like these!!! They aren't tacky like the "garage sale tags" that were used in the other thread, and they're a good way to use the stickers that came with the crystals without sticking them to the crystals themselves.

If you DO decide to print your own and sell them to the community yourself, I'd likely buy a few. Or you could release the object files for the 3D printer... I'd pay a few bucks for that as well.

Do you have a 3d printer?
I can email you all my object files, but they are in stl format.
Most slicing programs will convert them before the print anyway.
