I created a couple of imaginators with my son on his profile. Played with my daughter on her profile yesterday and was surprised to see that the names I gave them did not remain. I had to take ownership and re-enter the name. Is there a good explanation for why the name is. Of saved on the crystal with everything else?

The nicknames only stay with each profile.

Yes, I know. But why is it not all saved on the crystal in the same manner as class, upgrades, money, etc.?

Actually, it is saved to the crystal, but it is only displayed on the profile it belongs to, and is removed when you take ownership on a different profile.

Reason: Obscenity prevention. At least, that's the most common assumption for why nicknames were removed in SSC (and still missing in SI). AFAIK, Imaginator names are default for other players in online races, presumably for the same reason.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal.
Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.
