Other than Micromania and TRU Canada, has anyone heard when wave 3 will be released?

More than likely will release right before Christmas like it has every year.

The real question is do we know with 100% certainty who's in wave 3.

My TRU doesn't have anything on their list yet, other than the legendary Creation Crystals.

We do know for sure that Chompy Mage should be releasing Wave 3, because he's available already on Amazon and they're releasing the Christmas version. They've never kept limited time exclusives out of stores for more than 2 waves.

Also are we getting the Crash/Cortex pack this month? I could've sworn they were coming out in November.

Dark put it up on the packs page already, so I assume he must have some confirmation.

Well, if everything goes accordingly, we could finish off Fire, Life and Undead, as well as completing the Sorceror (Pit Boss), Bazooker (Chompy Mage & Flare Wolf) and Ninja (Boom Bloom) classes.
Not too shabby, if I say so myself.

Do we know if Painyatta will be released in a pack without a crystal? I've already got a magic crystal...

I'm guessing Wave 4, though they're suppose to do a combo pack. However, I've not seen a combo pack in any of the stores.

I haven't seen any combo packs either...not even crystal triples.

Australia's got November 14th as our crash and cortex pack release date ( EB games preorder, also November was given as a date for the pack release at our target too).

we don't have confirmation of anything else so I wouldn't say it's technically a wave release date . It could easily be just a wave 2.5 instalment or something specifaclly for the crash and cortex combo pack release.

I think he meant to say December 2nd, because that was the date that TRU Canada said.

For you guys down under, looks like Jingle Bells Chompy-Mage could be coming earlier than expected...

This was found in an ad that Target Australia posted for next week.

According to Skylanders Inquirer "Wave 3 is scheduled to release sometime in mid-November to December." Here's hoping.

Wave 3 is the wave Im looking forward to the most. First because Chompy Mage, I mean he's one of the most classic villains in Skylands. Second, the single pack dark crystal. I have SO many dark creations, and right now I only have one crystal for them...

I mostly want Pit Boss/Pain-Yatta/Chain Reaction. Flarewolf and Bad Juju are up there too but beard boy, edgy snek, and pinata son are better

I don't think we're getting a single dark crystal pack in Wave 3. The Packs page here at darkSpyro says that dark crystals will be included in a three-pack (with undead and magic) and the eight-pack, but no singles yet.

(Heck, it's Activision - why give people what they want when you can make them buy it with stuff they already have, right?)

Yeah, I haven't seen anything other than the single Fire Crystal mentioned for Wave 3. Darks will come in multis apparently, but they seem to be holding out on the Dark for now - there will be ways to get it, but it won't be easy. And finding one in Wave 4 and beyond might be troublesome if sales don't step up for the holidays.

I actually went out and got a Dark Edition this week, a nearby Gamestop had it on XBox One and I figured that if I were to decide to get any variants, that would be pretty much impossible to obtain down the road, so I used some trade in credit and a Power Up reward. I already had the PS4 Crash version, but I much, much prefer XBox One controllers.

The Dark Editions are still out there, but you need to use the Gamestop stock lookup on the item to find one. It was funny, they also had a 360 one, but Wolfgang's bow was horribly mangled in the packaging. I wouldn't hold out for a sale if you want one, the stock on those seemed to be really low, and they don't seem to have any for shipping.

With Wave 3, we get the following:
Flarewolf and Chompy Mage, which completes the Bazooker Class, along with Fire and Life
Pit Boss completes Sorceror class and Undead
Boom Bloom will finish Ninja Class as well as Life
Buckshot for Magic
Bad Juju and Chain Reaction finishes off Swahbucklers
If US gets Pain-Yatta combo, that would finish Magic and Smashers

There's technically the pack with Crash and Cortex if you didn't get the crash edition, but I think that also comes out in wave 3

i already got the crash pack and the gryphon park observatory pack, so 3 adventure packs total then. i believed it was 4.
