Yeah, about that, actually, if you don't mind: What do you mean "levels"? 'Cause the arena only goes up to three rounds. Do you mean just by how many times to actually play the arena?

guess i'm curious about that too. Does one skylander have to hit 30 then and then you get loads of EXP for all skylanders there after?

It gets harder each time you play it. Every time you enter again counts as a "level."

This. I'm on level 23 meaning I played in the arena battle 23 times.

If you level up the arena with one Skykander, then enter with a level one new Skywalker, will he get smoked?

Pretty much, but not early on in the match tho

It still seems 11-20 skylanders don't level for crap in the area.
I never noticed the level going up going up until Trapshadows post. Still I'm on level 51 now but it seems like my imaginators 24-40 level pretty fast for these types of levels.
But My imaginators 11-20 usually only level 2 times throughout the entire level.

Play the game, sinse SuperChargers the only thing you have to do is kill a few enemies and level up like 10 times because of one enemy (which sucks really hard)

I'm in the mid-teens for Arena difficulty level now, and I generally get a brand new character up to level 7 or 8 in one go, and it's super easy if the character has any knockback attacks to hit enemies out of the ring. It's nice to get a newly created Imaginator to the point where they can use Ultimate gear and access all their powers in just a couple minutes.

See, I've been having trouble with arena battles, half the time my imaginators get defeated before finishing all 3 rounds.

And I'm still having difficulties with it.

I found an alternative, probably not as good as arena, but the sensei battle gong on the final level helps. Granted once your like level 8/10 you only go up 1 level at a time.... oh for other characters, simply switch before you pick up the extra gold/exp.
