Hey guys, not sure if there's already a topic on this, but how do we access changing hats for older skylanders?

You can't. Hats don't exist in this game. You have to change them in a previous game and then bring them back to Imaginators. Pain in the butt, I know

Sadly you can't change or equip hats on non imaginators in this game. (No old hats from previous games)

Yup, it's quite a piss off.

And to add, hats no longer give bonuses.

If they were going to remove the option for hats, I dont see why they had to keep hats on your figures. It bothers the blazes out of me that DK still has the Sea Shadow hat on with no way of getting rid of it besides resetting him. I know I could go back to SC and take it off but its faster to reset them in Imaginators instead of having to go through all that process.

This has been a mystery to me as well, the best I can guess is they did not want confusion between hats and headgear, and removed them pretty late in. This is also backed up by the presence of underwhelming chests.
