so it turns out traps, magic items, battle items & level pieces are like the mystery chests...I used all my old items on launch day to give Crash & my fire quickshot Zippo some extra gold, but when I went to use them again earlier on my new Hood Sickle ( just got my villain 5-pack today...girl power 4-pack delayed because it ended up in the wrong facility smilie ) they didn't do anything. Looks like 1 time per save or per profile for them, too.....

it sure sucks with the old magic items getting reduced from legendary treasures to just gain money.
plus I can't seem to change my hat on my Skylanders ether.
