Can someone help a dad out. I have Skylanders Imaginators being delivered today for my daughters. With the creation crystals can you only fit one imaginator per crystal? can you save over your imagination if your not happy with it?

You can only store one Imaginator per crystal. You can't change the 'Battle Class' once it's been selected, as there is no way to reset the crystal. However, once you earn more parts you can keep changing the look and other features of your character.

The first thing you do when you place the creation crystal on the portal is pick one of 10 battle classes, which is pretty much what type of weapon you want the Imaginator to use. As you will be told, this is a final decision. You can always delete an Imaginator and start over, but you can't switch whatever battle class/weapon type you chose.

That being said, there is a way to reset even the battle class, but it involves using an older 3DS Skylander game with a 3DS portal. See this topic for more info:

thanks, so you can only have 1 imaginator per crystal? so if they want to create 2 fire imaginatiors i need to get 2 fire crystals ?

Yes, only 1 Imaginator per creation crystal. If you want to play as two different fire Imaginators at the same time, you'd need two fire creation crystals on the portal.

Yes. The only fire crystal right now is in the starter pack, but they will release a single pack of it in a different mold during wave 3, meaning sometime in mid-November or December.
