I used 2 profiles on my ps4 for skylanders, one for me and one for my kids. I noticed that I got a full set of equipment when I made my dark skylander. My daughter, on her profile, made her fire skylanders and got a full set with it. When I use my skylanders on her game and hers on mine....we don't get the sets for the other character. So I guess I'm asking if you have to create a new skylander per crystal type per save file in order to get the sets for each crystal type. Sorry if this is confusing, I cannot think of an easier way to ask lol.

Are you saying that the figure only shows correctly on the game profile where the pieces are unlocked? That doesn't sound right.

Are you asking about why the sets of pieces unlocked by adding a Creation Crystal to your collection aren't showing up? If so, I have no idea why they aren't.

I guess that's it. It only seems to unlock them if its the profile where that crystal was used to make the skylander originally

Did you use the "Take Ownership" option?

Not on the original one I did, but I did see the option to do it the 2nd time when my daughter made her fire skylander on her profile. My dark skylander didn't have the option I don't think,

It should appear for your Dark Imaginator when playing on your daughter's profile. And it should appear for her Fire Imaginator when playing on your profile. Taking ownership adds it to the profile's collection, which should add the reward sets to your respective vaults. Just remember to take ownership back if you want to keep the names on the original profiles.

Is there any way to access hats in this game? I didn't realize how many of my Skylanders have such goofy hats until I was putting them all in, and then I couldn't find a way to remove them in this game.

Unfortunately not. The only way to remove hats is to reset the figure (or use an older game).

So in order to unlock the sets on multiple profiles you need each profile to take ownership?

Tested myself, and, no. It should be added to the vault even if it already has a previous owner. Are you sure that you checked the vault after putting them on the portal?

The parts will only unlock on the profile you create a character on. Changing ownership won't do it.

My Earth Crystal unlocked its set for both the profile I created it on AND when I used it as a guest figure on a different profile.

My Light Crystal also unlocked the set on both profiles.

My Dark Crystal absolutely didn't so something strange is going on.
