Hello Fellow Skylanders.
Teste a bit with the Mystery chest. U can use it more than once with one console. All uneed to do is use another Profile or guest profile on PS4. U never get the same stuff. But u dont get it in youre Main save collectet stuff, but u can equip thw new atuff to the Imaginators. Didnt test if u have Parts from another save on Youre imaginators count to youre parts list. Will test that tonit.

Wow, nice find. And when you put that edited imaginator on the orginal save, it unlocks the parts, or...?

Someone told me that the mystery chest items are ONCE per SAVE FILE. Haven't tried it yet though.

Its once per profile. But, like the OP said, you can add parts your main profile doesn't have to your skylanders and take them to your main game and unlock them.

I tried it, and nope. I thought that would be it, but I guess it's once per profile.
Your part collection is shared between saves, so it would've made it ridiculously easy to farm parts.

Thanks for the clarification. Well, that's both a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing if you're lazy, but bad if you want to "start over" with a different save file.

I think i found another Glitch. I use my Chest with the 3DS SSA Portal more than once with the same savegame. But my Daughter used my Chest with the normal Portal so i cant try it anymore. Anybody out there with a 3DS Portal with USB-Cabel and PS4 can test that pls.

Are you saying you reset a chest using the SSA portal trick?

No i used my 3Ds portal eith usb cabel on my ps4 just to try it and i think with this portal the chest dont get erased for youre save.

3ds portal is wireless i have a bunch of them since i bought every game on the 3ds no place to put a cable

I think it's a region-specific version of the SSA 3DS Portal.

When Spyro's Adventure came out, the figures (and portals) were compatible with a PC/Web-based game called "Spyro's Universe". The first game on the 3DS had the port (and the cable) so players could use the web game.

Since the Wii Version came with a wireless portal and used a lot of batteries, myself and others would use the 3DS Portal to save on batteries.

Maybe it was the Dark Edition Chest? Maybe u can use it twice?

It does not work on ps3 or wiiu i tested with brand new gold chest said it was empty when I tried it again, oh well no worries.

So, am I to understand that the exact same chest I used on my system will give me parts a, b, and c, while giving Kenny down the road parts x, you, and z?

Yes, the parts you get from each chest are random, only the number of rarities is guaranteed based on the color of the chest.

Yes chest worked on my wii u first then used it on my ps3, they can be used on different systems one time.

Oh that's interesting! So our local game store could trade them in for preowned buying then!

It works on multiple profiles on the ps4 and Xbox one, but not multiple save files on the same profile. If you feel like it you can try in on a ton of profiles and then equip all the epic and above parts to your skylander and use that skylander on your main save to unlock the parts.
