My walmart will have them for $5.88 , is it worth it to buy one? I know there will be a bronze, silver, or gold one in there, but do you only get one item/part? Or is it more than that? Would it just be easier to get the parts from the app?

I think a chest unlocks 9 parts, and you can't unlock the parts from the app and transfer them into the game.

I was planning on using a card bought out of the store. But if it unlocks 9 parts it might be worth it. I don't like spending my money on "surprise" things

Different chests (gold, silver, bronze) unlock different numbers of items and different rarities of items.

You cannot transfer parts from the app to the game unfortunately, but you can transfer parts from the game to the app at least.

But my advice: get some Creation Crystals instead. Every time you get a new element of creation crystal for the first time, you unlock an additional set of creation parts. Once you've got one of each element crystal, THEN maybe consider picking up those blind bag chests.
