I feel like I can't be the only one who got this idea, right?

I was thinking of attempting to make characters from other series in this game. Stuff like Iron Man, Bayonetta, Shovel Knight, etc.
I've realized however that some of the Imaginators I plan to make who I will call "Guest Imaginators" already have toys to life figures in other games, such as Disney Infinity or Amiibos. Out of the three I mentioned, I actually do have Iron Man.

So I was wondering, what if I were to find a way to remove the NFC chips from their figures and replace it with the ones from the Creation Crystals, basically as a "free but not really free because you're still paying money for an extra figure" alternative to the fifty dollar Creator App figures for those worrying about infringing on copyright... Like myself.

Obviously the Imaginator wouldn't look 100% like the the figure, but it'd still be a neat way to kinda give the illusion that these characters really are in the game. I've seen a couple of videos about how to remove NFC chips from Amiibos, but not so much Infinity figures, so I don't know if I'll even try this out.

The infinity figures have a plastic disc on the bottom- remove that, and you can just peel the chip out.

It is pretty simple. Just get a flat head screwdriver under the disk, pop it out, and you're done. I've done my fair share of disney infinity figure mutilation.. so i'm glad to help.

I don't suppose anyone knows how to remove the NFC chip of a Skylanders figure now, do they?

For a figure with a normal base (core, Giant, Trap master, Swapper, Magic item, etc.) all you have to do is get the little clear bit off from the bottom, and under the white paper stuff should be the chip. But since we don't know where the chip in Creation crystals is located (probably at the very bottom of the figure), I don't know how you can get it without possibly damaging the chip. There will probably be a grove along the bottom where they put the chip in, then covered it with plastic, so you could try cutting around that (if there even will be one).
