Just a question I've been wondering about. I have very limited money, so I'm worried I won't even be able to pre-order the game on time. Having said this, I am hoping I'll be able to buy an Undead character creation crystal, and two characters. I'm already pretty sure that I want to make a me-Skylander as an Undead Quickshot. I'm also planning to get Barbella, as she's my favorite character in the new roster.
Anyway, what am I going to have to buy to make my Quickshot character the coolest she can be? I don't really want Krankcase that much, but will I have to buy his figure in order to have an attack tied to the triangle button? Am I going to have to buy anything in specific to unlock gothic-ish clothes or accessories for my character? I've been worried that if I want a character class to be at its fullest, that I'll need a Sensei/Villain of that same class. So help me out here. What am I going to need in order to make the perfect Quickshot character?

Basically, to get the most out of your Imaginators, you will have to
A) Wait for the right parts to be unlocked. This costs no money unless you are desperate and buy Imaginite Chests in-game for fast unlocks Buy 1 Quickshot Skylander to unlock a cool power that you may or may not use ever. C) Play with it... A lot! No use in unlocking the parts if you can't equip them because your Imaginator is not leveled up enough. |

3 of the Quickshot abilities are unlocked in story mode/leveling up, only get Krankcase if you really want Death Blossom. Otherwise you'll only need Senseis for levels.

Okay, this might help! Are all the clothes/accessories unlockable in-game with just the basic starter pack?
Also, is there any way to know what those unlockable Quickshot skills (including the Krankcase one) are? If I see a skill I like far more than Krankcase's, then I may as well not bother with him and just grab Ambush instead. |

Takadox beat me to the second one, but ALMOST everything is unlocked from normal play. Some acessories are tied to the Senseis(themed after them of course), a set is locked per Crystal element(again, themed), and the Senseis' weapons are in their shrines - other than that, story mode, some behind levels unlocked by senseis of a certain element. As of now doesn't seem like there's any need to buy Mystery Chests and whatnot.

Oh man, thank you guys so much. This really, really helps. Stuff like this is all on the Wiki to help me decide what other classes I want too?

Not all unfortunately, we only have what we saw on gameplay. For Quickshots it's all there though, Undead is on its own article.

If you don't want Krankcase you could always get Tidepool instead. Both quickshots unlock the same move.

Boop me if you see this. |
