Stores should be getting their displays in very soon, if not already. Third-party reps due in after the third to set everything up, including the interactive display.

Select stores *may* be doing a midnight release. Check with your local store early next week to find out if they are participating.

I know mine doesn't (Fullerton, CA), but they often open early instead.

That happens where I buy mine too. They only open about an hour earlier than usual, I think.

I don't know about Spyro's Adventure (picked it up day 1, but afternoon) but my awesome TRU has held a midnight release for every other Skylanders game and a handful of the toy releases when it's been a big group. With that said, the last few releases have been pretty sad on the turnout, so I would be pleasantly surprised if my local store bothers with a midnight release.

When would TRU announces if they are opening at midnight or at 8am? I can't remember when they did it last year.

I think they'd announce it in the ad a week before launch. So probably this week's (not today but next Sunday's) ad.

On SCL, it's mentioned that some TRUs have received their SI stock for 10/16, with Wave 2 mentioned by way of Mysticat. My local TRU is still trying to get rid of its old stuff, including SC but no sign of midnight release.

Imaginators has already been mentioned in a couple of ads. I am not talking about when the ads will contain Imaginators. I want to see the ad scans for the week of 10/16 - 10/22, so that I can see what sales will be available. Those are sometimes released a week to a week and a half ahead of time. I was wondering if anyone on here goes to certain sites to get ad scans. There are plenty of people that get their hands on ad scans early.

Just heard back - my local TRU will not be having a midnight release. This doesn't *mean* anything for any other stores, but I'd say it doesn't look good. :/

Usually, Uncle Bob, they may open early on the 16th. It's not guaranteed, but more than likely.

My TRU has *always* had a midnight release (except maybe the first game?)... so this is a departure for them. They're looking into opening early, but haven't heard back yet.

So far, the one I go to the most told me they're opening regular time, which is 10 AM.
Shouldn't be too bad because most people are in church that time of day
