I was thinking, what if Acti released variant crystals (Nitro, Enchanted, Legendary etc) that tint the created characters appearance color(s) to match the color scheme of the variant. Just a random idea I had, let me know your thoughts on this.

I don't mind having some sort of variants on the physical crystals themselves, even though I probably won't buy them... But they'd better not auto-color my friggin' characters.

The color pallet for Imaginators can already be changed in the Editor. That'd be a pointless cash grab, even more pointless than the Legendary Traps, although I think they'd still find out a way to throw in a couple of variant Crystals that start out at a higher level and have extra gold.

I like the idea myself. If you don't want the to auto-color your characters then don't buy them and just buy the normal ones.

I believe that Acti will have Variant Creation Crystals, such as Legendary for example, but as to what will be their functionality, if any, who knows.
We may even see a Legendary Imaginite Chest...

I think if the crystals released the color palates of the variations and special moves, that may be appealing.

I'm fine with Variant crystals just having a skin job. OR Giving created characters a slight boost in areas. Could just be away of putting your main created characters in them. You don't have to buy it if you aren't fine with it just being a look of the crystal. But I'd assume otherwise it'd sell just like any other crystal at toys r us.

I love the implication of the variant crystals it just adds more of a collectible!
