The portal included with Imaginators isn't exactly the Swap Force portal.

It's slightly larger, and the portal will glow the colors of the Light and Dark elements.

The Swap Portal already has the ability to glow in any color, depending on input. Can't say anything about size, though.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal.
Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

Tree Rex on the portal takes up a lot of space.

Maybe he simply is smaller than Tree Rex?
Don't think we have comparisons pictures, jus interviews saying that "most of the Senseis are the size of Trap Masters and Giants".

The base could easily be as big as Tree Rex's, though.

Launch SuperChargers and place a Light/Dark Skylander on the Swap Force Portal.
It won't glow the colors of Light and Dark, but it will read the Skylander.

To be fair, that doesn't mean that the portal isn't *capable* of "light" and "dark" colors. Just that the game wasn't programmed to tell it to.

I have no input on this either way - but you're not really presenting evidence that it is a different portal.
