So far we only know of the Dark variants of Golden Queen, Wolfgang & King Pen...but what other variants might we see for Imaginators? Hopefully they'll stick with variant figures and stay clear of variant Creation Crystals & Mystery Chests...but I'd like to see the following:

Evolved villains, with every villain getting a variant of their evolved form/color scheme from TT ( including Kaos )

Sheep Mage variant for Chompy Mage ( never gonna happen though...largely because they'd have to alter the sculpt & attacks/animations )

Legendary Crash Bandicoot, Ember, Starcast & Hood Sickle ( we know there will most likely be a few Legendary & Nitro variants, just not who or how many )

holiday variants of Chopscotch & Pain-Yatta ( just for the love of Eon, no Eggcited Thrillipede monstrocities )

an Ember variant with blue flames ( not sure what to name her though.... )

Noooooone. Variants are bad and have always been bad. Unless they make the figure look better, like Legendary Astroblast.

Eater Bad Juju(stripes, stripes everywhere!), Candy Cane or Candy Corn Pain-Yatta (he can be colored after a ton of sweets after all), maybe Legendary Grave Clobber so people actually notice him?

that's primarily been my feeling, but they've always done variants so we kind of have to expect them and Astroblast really does look better in Legendary ( which usually isn't the case IMO...I never liked the color palettes for Legendary & Nitro variants ). As long as they're in-game variants and don't look as horrifying as Eggcited Thrillipede or get too carrieed away, I'm fine with them.

Easter Pain-Yatta, Christmas Chompy Mage (just reverse the green and red on his cloak and boom), Valentine's Day Mysticat or Wolfgang, Legendaries for Tae Kwon Crow, Barbella, Wild Storm, and squid girl.

Never been a fan of variants (except my Molten Hot Dog, bless his soul <3) but here I am anyway:

Considering SI is kind of like reverse Trap Team 2.0, we have "Good" Senseis, "Bad" Senseis, Creation Crystals & Chests, I'm expecting there to be variants of all figure types. Kind of like how we had variants of all figure types in SC and more specifically in STT; in STT we had variants in Traps, Trap Masters, Cores, Minis, and even a variant Magic Item.

With that in mind, I'm thinking the in game variant count to be like 1 or 2 variants for each of the figure types, "Good" Senseis, "Bad" Senseis, Creation Crystals & Chests; that would be 4 in game variants if 1 per figure type, but personally I think there will be more like 2 variants for each figure type.

IMO In Game Variants:
The 2 definite are Dark and Legendary, and most likely are Nitro, Easter & Christmas since they've been in SSF, STT & SC.


IMO Non In Game Variants (Chase):
The 1 semi definite is Employee, always a pain to chase down if you're not, you know, employeed by Acti/tfb/vv; there have been Employee editions since Giants, and depending if you count Macy's Eruptor we've had Employees consistently from SG, SSF, STT & SC.

I hope there are no non in game variants, but these also have been around since SSA, soooo most likely they will be produced. For SC there were 7 non in game variants (depending on where u stand on Patina Burn Cycle), in STT we had 4 non in game variants, and in SSF we had yikes, dont even want to count that much. If there are any I hope its just like 2 or so, 1 for each "Good" Sensei, "Bad" Sensei.

Hm, maybe for chase, we should have a revamp of Clears with that material they're using on Starcast and Barbella, call it Crystal or Shimmer or something.

I'd like to see an Enchanted Mysticat, New Years/Jade Flarewolf, and an Evolved Wolf- wait, Dark Wolfgang already looks a lot like his evolved form...

A lot of it will be time will tell.

There always seems to be figures they produce at the last minute that never make it to the collectors guide until the following years guide releases and they become added.

My guess is there will be legendary and nitro like years past.

Definitely some holiday variants. I always liked the enchanted paint work but we will see who gets what. Enchanted probably never happened as it seems Walmart doesn't really support the franchise any more when it comes to space provided.

I'm curious if they will do much with chase variants. I enjoy them and collect them when I can but fewer seems to be better on the pocket book!!!

I could see some of the villains get variants of their evolved forms. We kinda got it with Dark Wolfgang.

Easter Thrillipede still haunts my nightmares.
But I will admit Missile-Tow Dive-Clops was pretty clever.

I'm expecting Legendary, Nitro, and Holiday variants. Of who? I don't know. It could be anybody; excluding Golden Queen, King Pen, and Wolfgang since they already have Dark variants.

I'd love variants of Crash and Cortex. Like Carbon Crash from Crash of the Titans and Crash Mind Over Mutant. Though I wouldn't count on it.
I hope a Dark Skylander gets a Variant, mainly Legendary. Every other element has a Legendary Skylander. Starcast looks too close to Legendary already. Legendary Hood Sickle?
Oh and Kaos. Wouldn't that be cool? We had that Ultimate Kaos Trap in Trap Team so the Kaos element wouldn't be alone with 1 Trap. How about the same so it wouldn't be alone with 1 Skylander. Legendary Kaos?

The only thing I thnk would be terribly unnecessary would be a Kaos variant. Aside from with, I'm open to the idea of variants.

I think the tech bowslinger will have a legendary and i think we'll also have a jade barbella cuz she's crystallized or something.

I'll only speculate on legendary, nitro, and holiday variants for now..

Sorry for the late reply, but here is a list of the Holiday variants I expect to see, since I suck at guessing Legendaries and Nitros:

Santa Chompy-Mage: We know this is going to happen.

Halloween Chopscotch or Hood Sickle - They could make Chopscotch look like a pumpkin. I don't know what they could do with Hood Sickle, but I think he'd make sense as a Halloween variant.

Valentine's Day Mysticat, Wolfgang, Dandy Lion or Buck Shot - Mysticat because Love Potion Pop Fizz was Magic, or any of the Bowslingers because it would be a reference to Cupid. I think Dandy Lion is most likely because he's Magic and a Bowslinger, and we already have a Wolfgang variant.

Easter Pain-yatta or Chopscotch - Pain-yatta because it'd be really easy to give him the Easter colors, or maybe Chopscotch if she's not the Halloween variant, since they could make her look like an egg.

New Year's Eve or Fourth Of July Flarewolf - I've really wanted to see a variant for either one of these holidays, and Flarewolf would be perfect for both, since both holidays revolve around lots of flashes and bangs, which seems to be what Flarewolf and the Bazooker class are all about. I can understand why they wouldn't do a Fourth Of July one, but still, New Year's Eve is a huge thing, and they would miss out on a great opportunity if they didn't make a Flarewolf variant for it.

We had a New Years' Eve variant on Lost Islands, Fireworks Zook I think.

For Nitros, Boom Bloom for sure, since Ninjas seem to have high base speed. She seems the one that would look the best in a yellow outfit,too.

I actually want to see any good decorated Halloween and Christmas variant! I think Chompy Santa could be a great option for the Christmas one.

I expect something for Easter, maybe Halloween, who knows Valentines Day and some Variants that are not based on any specific date/event. You know, without much purpose.
