So I was at GameStop today looking around for skylanders imaginators pre order cards or something that shows pre order are out, and my dad asked if you could pre order it on one of their computers and I could so I pre ordered the dark edition.

(If this was already known, don't attack me, I had no idea pre orders would be this early)

Isn't Gamestop where you get Book of Kaos with preorders? Look into that if you haven't already, it's a nice funny lore book.

Nope no display or anything it was a digital pre order on the computer sadly

i just wanna find some website, ANY WEBSITE, that confirms the contents of wave 1.

i don't care if it's a communist russia toy store. if they have packshots/HQ images of our wave 1... i will go to a communist russia toy store.

gamescom is 14 days away. it feels like once gamescom happens, we'll get SOMETHING and we'll be satisfied for about 4 days. hell, activision could post a 50x50 pixel picture of an unseen figure and we'd lose our ****.

It's usually after Gamescon, isn't that when we found Steel Plated Smash Hit too?

IIRC after gamescom '15 it all was clear- wave 1 preorders went up on amazon, and wave 2 preorders accidentally happened too.

seeing as this is a TFB game and not a VV game, wave 2 has a significantly higher chance of being at TRU on day 1 than it did last year

I was at Gamestop on the third and they had a video playing talking about Imaginators and footage, but it contained the same old footage from the very first Activision release video mixed in with a guy and gal talking about the game and how great it is. If you seen any in store Gamestop promo vids over the years, you've seen them all. It didn't show leaks or anything that we didn't already knew about.

I didn't notice anything about special reserves or setups like I had with SuperChargers by this time last year which I thought was odd, but then again, Gamestop seems to be stocking up on the random hobby toys and in store space seems rather limited for any promo displays and posters now days. I didn't think to ask the clerk about anything special in regards to the release.

I pre-ordered today at Gamestop online, but I didn't see any mention of a bonus Kaos figure.

Kaos is a great pre-order bonus.

we don't know yet who will offer the preorder bonus for Kaos but it seems at this moment to be a toysrus exclusive in the US.
but sounds like everyone will get it in Canada.

Though if it's pretty much all major retailers in the US I'd feel much better because I'd rather order from amazon with it's 20% off for prime members.

^ Info/links appreciated. Problem with this preordering through TRU is that they won't honor the Amazon Prime discount AFAIK.

I picked up some more Skylanders at Gamestop earlier ( the BB Pop Fizz/Soda Skimmer combo pack and 5 pre-owned figs buy 2 get 3 free...Spotlight, Stink Bomb, Bushwhack, Blizzard Chill and Lightcore Wham-Shell ), and was asked if I pre-ordered Imaginators yet. I mentioned waiting for confirmation on the Kaos figure, and sure enough they hadn't heard about it....
