I agree in the original picture he (Mysticat looks like a guy) looks a lot like a monkey. But on the mega thread someone posted a more hi-rez picture that made him look much more felinesque. It's really hard to tell what creature a lot of the skylanders are until we see their entire body. The Light yeti-ish thing looks like he might turn out to be a monkey.

He does look like the Cheshire Cat as someone said, especially the Tim Burton version, but as of now it's still grasping straws.

For what I've seen he definitely seems more like a monkey than a cat (a chimera or a manticore would be truly interesting), they could have at least added whiskers and a feline nose.
