HOOO-LLYYYY *************! Grave Clobber and Chompy Mage confirmed! Great find.

I've said I was done guessing on new Skylanders, but I actually have a theory, based on the new information in this picture.

Looking at this list, these Skylanders appear to be arranged by element, alphabetically, from left top to bottom right.
Air: Air Strike
Dark: Hood Sickle, Starcast
Earth: Barbella, Golden Queen
Fire: Flarewolf, Ember, Tae Kwon Crow
Life: Ambush, Boom Bloom, Chompy Mage
Light: Aurora
Magic: Mysticat
Tech: Dr. Krankcase
Undead: Hopscotch, Pit Boss, Wolfgang
Water: Grave Clobber

Grave Clobber as a Water Skylander? Nothing makes sense anymore. I'm not gonna overthink this.

Why is Grave Clobber water? Is it because his Stone parts are blue? I can't...

At this rate I expect Bad Juju to be Light, and... I don't know, ThreatPack to be Air. I don't actually know.

I guess it is interesting as the 2 direct servant to Golden Queen joined her as Skylanders?

Nothing to really say on Chompy Mage, was expected, he deserves the spot, etc.

I doubt Luminous is getting in any time soon...

I wonder if Grave Clobber will just be a Bomb Shell, meaning the only reason he's water is because of his color and they'll just add water effects to his attacks like Bomb Shell in magic...

I'm not mad about grave clobber because I hated most of the water Villans from TT except for brawl and chain so I'm happy that we're getting him instead of the gulper...and he might of have turned to the good side because he's golden queen's servent and he has to obey her .

Maybe Grave Clobber's new Element references the phrase 'A watery grave'? Oh well, GC or as I call him Piledriver, was my most used villain in TT even above Hood Sickle. Although Hood Sickle probably will be my most used in Imaginators. (That name is so bad) In summary, I don't know wether to be hyped or vomit. Also, this is the first time I actually saw some new Skylanders I actually like. Pit Boss being one of them. I definitely will get all the Lights and Darks since they are my favorite Elements.

GRAVECLOBBER ....lol to be honest I never saw him as earth anyway, undead would've always made much more sense for him but waters so weird.

I don't really mind though, I find all these random elements really entertaining .

maybe he'll be more ice themed( icy cold grave like thing ). Or a watery grave ( Davey jones' locker type thing ) .


Also I think boom bloom is gonna be awesome

GC is only Undead on spooky theme, he's made of living stone as seen in Book of Kaos. Which makes the choice to put him on that and not, say, Life weird and I can only put that blame on hallucinogens.

Anyway, I noticed that every Villain with a switched element have been the non-Doom Raider ones. So now I'm kind of worried about Bad Juju taking up another spot, she could entirely fit in Magic, if my theory about Pain-Yatta not getting in is right.

He's already incompatible with Smasher iirc, you could be very much right.

Starcast looks amazing 10/10, Dark never disappoints.

Bad Juju being Magic would probably be one of the few of these element changes that makes any sort of sense, since Juju implies some sort of magic, even though she only uses air attacks.

Of course, this would leave Air and Light wide open, and who knows who would get in there. Could be Bomb Shell and Chomp Chest for all we know.

Chomp Chest would actually be cool if his gimmick was around pulling random things from his insides to fight.
Inb4 he's the 11th villain because he stored every weapon inside that hyperspace chest.

Well, least you gave me an idea for my new Earth character in my fan game idea.

Anyway, I don't think we're getting any Villain Smashers, so that leaves us with the question of what Chompy Mage is. Probably Sorcerer now that I think about it, actually.

He could be the smasher, we don't see the end of the staff. It's also why it seems the stuff about Painyatta was probably from a brainstorming meeting rather than final plans.

I don't think there IS going to be a villain Smasher anymore, honestly.

But the real question is... what's Chompy Mage?

Anything that can be put on a stick, especially if we'll get duplicate classes as Bionichute's predicting.

My current prediction is that Sorcerer and Brawler are going to end up with duplicates, and Smasher and either Ninja/Bazooker are going to end up with 2.

I feel Luminous is done for.

But I actually like ALOT of these characters (Didn't comment before because they were only tiny faces.)

LOL Aurora .... and people were dissing Ember for such a common dull name. Still, I would like to see a full body pose of her. She seems like a nice light waifu for us all to enjoy but that tiny up close shot of her really doesn't make her very interesting.

I thought that Mysticat was going to be a female as well. OH WELL! I guess he'll be paired up with Tuff Luck now.

Still don't care much for Barbella, but I'll have to see her figure in person to decide how I feel about her I guess.

I was thinking, perhaps they will have a female for every element this year? Or not...I've not been keeping that close of a track of the elements and I have a real bad headache to think deeply about it, but I think we know of at least 8 female Skylanders now for this year, right?

And YES for Chompy Mage! I was really hoping for him to be confirmed as I like the old goat! And I'll say it again, if you don't see your fav baddie, they'll probably release it next year or so. I'm pretty sure it'll be a yearly thing if they sell well.

Anyone else thinking that Pit Boss might be a reference to Mortal Kombat's Reptile? If it's the case, he would be a Ninja.

I honestly think Brawl & Chain would've made a better Water Sensei than Grave Clobber, and would ACTUALLY have hands this time! And sorry again Luminous35 if Luminous doesn't make the cut and Eye Five does instead. And the Villain Sensei for Magic is Pain-Yatta.
