A Creation Crystal of every element
Wii U regular edition
Senseis of at least 5/10 Battle Classes

Heres my Day One if it goes exactly how I hope it does, if I have enough money in shorter words.

• Crash Edition Starter Pack with King Pen, Golden Queen, and Crash Bandicoot, also with a Fire Creation Crystal.
  
• Four Senseis, Tri-Tip, Ambush, Ember, and Wolfgang (If that's all thats in Wave One)
  
• Wave One Creation Crystals (Life, Undead, and Dark), but if all the CC's are released on Day One, then get Light, Magic, Undead, and Dark.
  

Now heres my plan if I only have limited money.

• Crash Edition Starter Pack with King Pen, Golden Queen, and Crash Bandicoot, also with a Fire Creation Crystal.
  
• Two Senseis, Ambush and Ember
  
• Wave One Creation Crystals (Undead and Dark), and if all CC's are released on Day One, then get Light and Dark CC's instead. (and Magic if I have enough money)
  

I have to wait to see which characters go with King Pen to buy the minimum to have 1 of every type of Sensei. But I really hope Tri Tip is one of them.

Sadly it's still really too early to tell with how little we know about the game and figure waves.

Also, it's really hard because "Paper Mario: Color Splash" is due a week before Skylanders. And I REALLY love my Paper Mario games. I'll get the waifu immediately but I may wait for Black Friday for the game.

What will happen is that I will probably obsess about Paper Mario for at least a month if it's halfway decent or two weeks if it sucks. Either way, there is no way I can finish that game before the new Skylanders game.

So I'll almost certainly will be watching what others have to say about SI and I'll make a final decision about the game when I'm done with Paper Mario. If it's another SC, then I'll wait for a sale. If it's a SF or TT, then I'll get it ASAP when I'm done with Paper Mario.

It would be really cool if, including everything in the Dark Edition, they released two crystals per element on day one, but I don't know how likely that is.

I'm not so sure right now! It could be:

The starter pack and my favourite wave one figure

or

Just the starter pack

or

Nothing at all. Who knows how my opinions will change as time goes by?

The Crash Starter, Ember, Ambush, Wolfgang and maybe one or two crystals. Though I'm sure we'll get much more for Wave 1 confirmed at SDCC.

I hope we don't, because I won't be able to get everything! D: D:

Starter pack, several different elements of creation crystals, and 1-2 senseis

Here's my ideal launch day lineup:

•Starter Pack (obviously) - either Dark Edition for Wii U or Crash Edition for PS4
•Creation Crystals - at least enough to get one of each of the other available elements I need
•Sensei (including reformed Villains) - as many of the available ones on my wishlist as I can afford

It's unlikely, but it'd be neat to have every class appear in my Sensei collection at launch. My guess is they'll have about 5-7 regular Sensei (not counting King Pen and Crash) and 2-3 reformed Villains (not counting , possibly counting ), so I'd probably walk away with about 3-5 extra Sensei figures and maybe 7-9 extra Creation Crystals.

Well,

Maybe one or two extra Crystals, but I think three Senseis are a good start.

I will buy everything provided it gets stocked in stores. Already pre-ordered dark starter set and will have to buy the corresponding color versions as well. PS4 and maybe NX depending on what NX looks like (when if it gets released). Won't buy for X-one cause the vibration in the controler is beyond annoying.
May buy 360 though if find it used cheap down the road.

I'd considered that they might make an NX version, but I wonder if it might be this game's "complementary experience", hence the reason there isn't an Imaginators game for 3DS this time. If the NX version does have a unique plot and/or gameplay, then I'd probably get it when it comes out.

Everything except the Starter packs. I plan to get the Crash Bandicoot and Dark Edition packs. Don't need the standard starter since the CB edition has those figures too.

Dark PS4 Starter, and then I shall see who is available at launch.

if I can afford it, a Crash edition and either an Xbox One regular or Dark edition ( really only care about a Crash edition for, you know, Crash...only want to play the game on my Xbox One...and Wii U cause DK & Bowser ) plus a few extra Sensei & villains and some extra Crystals. I really wish they'd give us an update on Waves and when we can expect a Crash Bandicoot standalone pack

It isn't like you're locked into what you say for all eternity... everyone will understand that it's just with your current knowledge of the figures.

Wii U dark edition, Ember, Ambish and Hood Sickle if he's wave one and one creation crystal per element assuming they are all wave one+ a second water crystal to create Lapis Lazuli

I'm just buying 3 - 4 senseis with the money I have left on day 1, and if Hood Sickle is wave one he is the first one I am grabbing off the shelf. Creation Crystals can wait, I'll have 3 in the dark starter plus I think the wave 1 creation crystals will be easy to get.

Everything out that is not a variant...not doing in game variants / chase variants this year.
