What's in a name? The Smasher class uses heavy, two-handed weapons. Stump Smash doesn't.

Because instead of wielding a weapon, he strikes with his arms. He kinda pushes it. Definitely not smasher, though.

Actually not all Smashers uses two-handed weapons. Tri-Tip just uses a single-handed one.

I don't think you can define most of the core Skylanders that don't have hand held weapons / obvious strategies similar to the classes without endless argument.

Best to stick to the obvious ones like wham shell ( smasher ) and slambam (brawler) etc.

I don't think we've seen either class in action yet, but judging by the constellations, ninjas dual-wield throwing weapons (as does Dino-Rang,) and Swashbucklers dual-wield melee weapons (as does Stealth Elf.)

Well yeah, but this is more about the characaters themselves rather than the weapons, since some don't have a weapon at all like Hex, but she's obviously a Sorcerer.


But the classes are based solely on the weapons not the characters. Like Ambush is ninja like but is a knight because of his sword. Stealth Elf would be a swashbuckler because she wields to daggers. She could be a ninja though if she used her darts from the 3ds version.
