So you know I found this lovely image a while back? Well, why don't we try and guess what the chest in the pack will do once place on the portal?

I think that it could possibly give your Imaginator custom mods based off of Kaos or The Darkness, or give you a Dark Edition color option to color your characters with. Those are just my guesses? What do you think it'll do?

Weird thing is that in the picture when it shows all the Dark Edition's contents... the chest is not shown.

I'm aware the common theory is that it'll unlock Kaos parts for Imaginators, but I don't really think that'll be the case. Sure, the last two dark starters had something related to Kaos in them, but aside from being painted black, there's nothing really "Kaos-y" about it.

What I think is that it'll be like a daily unlock type of thing, where you can place it on the portal to unlock some random Imaginator parts, and you can do this until the character creator is full. But you can only do this once every twenty-four hours so no one with it maxes out their options too quickly.

I dunno, that's just my theory.

If it works like the previously released Dark-exclusive items, like the trap and the trophy, I'd say it will unlock special Kaos-themed parts and customization options.

I only hope it will be available saparetely, later on.

I think there will be more like this but in mystery packs, like the battlecast cards. They'll be in packs of like eh 2 or 3 for like $10. Each one you place on the portal you will get a random imaginite or what holds special gear. If you already have that gear, it will give the current sensei, villain, or imaginator you have on the portal a ton of gold.

EDIT: But if there are 2 players, it will split the gold 2 ways to each skylander.

What if it gave you a Dark Spyro head??? Also, isn't this the most stuff, and the biggest price (about $150 if I calculated correctly and guessed the worth of all the stuff inside) ever to come from the dark edition ($100)?

That would be kinda pointless in all honesty. I mean, assuming all Skylanders have their parts for Imaginators, you could simply just take a normal Spyro head and color it to look like Dark Spyro. Assuming the color options allow for that, that is.

Old skylanders have some parts, but not all skylanders and not all parts. I mean, sure, spyro's head is the icon heads, but eon's head is in the selection screen, too.

what if it was like a magic item, where every day, once a day, you can use it to get random, rare items?

Completely off note of the topic, but did anyone else notice the Fire Imaginator in the regular starter packs above the 3 skylanders, but dark?

It probably gives you the ability to turn your Imaginator "dark".

I think it will give you some exclusive dark customization. :3

In the same location this was found, a version of the regular was posted with the same Imaginator, with the bat wing ears.

Which one...? I've never seen any pictures of that.

I guess that chest will unlock the color palettes for dark "decoration2. Maybe some imaginators parts that are related to dark as well.

Brifely, it will let you cusomize your imaginator as a dark version.

Did anyone notice that on the fire Crystal the element is there but on dark and life it's not?
