Clarifying Crystals [CLOSED]

So apparently I was wrong that there would be interchangeable magnetic parts like SWAP Force?

What I'm considering now is that the crystal is just a flat base thing. No figure model whatsoever, and by placing it in the portal, you can begin making a custom skylander which is saved onto the crystal?

Do I need to bring on the clay and actually make a custom skylander in-game and physical? That would be sick enough for day-one purchase!

It's the tank looking thing in the center.

Actually looks a bit like an hourglass in the starter pack, due to the white plastic holding it in place.

So, no, it's definitely not a flat base.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal.
Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

Well I suppose modelling our own skylander atop the cylindrical crystal would work, as the custom one on the packaging looks fine atop of it. Also I am aware that they are the size of traps.
