Played the game for about an hour today and haven't encountered any issues on Wii U, so that's a relief. One of the reviews made it sound like the game was a glitchfest so I hope the rest of the game isn't either.

It seems like this'll be way more fun than Superchargers based on what I played smilie

Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

My brain is almost on holiday so can someone tell me what the different elements mean in terms of character creation. Are there different parts per element etc?

Any part can be used with any element, but there are certain parts that would fit certain elements more than others. I think the only element exclusive features are their powers and color scheme (even that you don't have to follow, though)

Creation Crystals unlock a set based on their Element, so those will be unavailable. Otherwise, it's just powers. You can recreate color schemes from other Elements by custom selection, so even that's not exclusive.

Another thing I can confirm: Imaginite Mystery Chests cannot be registered while still in the bag.

There's a separate collection menu for Imaginite Sets, including their individual parts. However, there's no collection menu for non-set parts, so you need a Creation Crystal to view those. Also, the 3 Instant Vehicles show up in the figure collection menu, in the same sub-menu as the Adventure Packs.

Anyone in the UK get a Superchargers portal with their starter pack? My Wii U Dark Edition starter has arrived and has a Swap force portal. Wondered if it's just the regular starters in Europe that have the Superchargers portal or just some countries in mainland Europe rather than UK?

European Starters come with a modified Superchargers portal while us in NA get Swap Force. Any portal works, though.

Weird thing is though i'm in the UK (which is considered part of the European market) and there are a few German, Spanish & Finnish unboxing videos on youtube all with the Swap force portal, then I've seen a player from the Netherlands with a Superchargers one. Seems very random & confusing to me.

Germany, regular XBOX One starter pack, Swap Force portal. Got the game yesterday from amazon.de.

Horrible news. The color-coded "blind bags" must've been coincidental, because I got bronze in both purple and blue, whereas the topic in which the pattern was established, everyone else got it in green. My green had a silver chest.

I guess I'll try to sell one of my bronze chests and buy a gold one online.

I checked out the previous page, Bifrost and Bionichute, and I feel thy pain. Though I've never played anything prior to Skylanders, I know what you're talking about.
First, the SkyKids ruined it by putting a video of the end battle, now this.
What's next? Kaos retires and Malefor becomes the new main villain?
For those who've ruined it for us in the US, I bloody hope that Hood Sickle throws you idiots into one of his gravity wells and casts you into the dark abyss.

I'm not sure Fearsome Flowers is what I had in mind with plant weapons. A giant stem is one thing, the other way around is, uh, symbolic in the wrong way.
