Not sure if this is old news, but just found a few YouTube videos with someone displaying Nightfall, Smash Hit, High Volt and the rest of wave one. Hopefully this means wave 2 will be out at the same time as wave 1 on release day! Posting videos below. Not sure about everyone else, but my excitement has skyrocketed! smilie Also found one by the same YouTube user showing the sea racing pack.

"regular" Smash Hit is out? Have not seen him on any websites for pre order, and all the other guys are...except High Volt and Nightfall.

the only reason i'm buying steel plated is because they probably won't have the regular on day one at target.

Well I was buying a second Crypt Crusher to customize and match with Frightful Fiesta because...well he's my fav of the new characters by MILES (IRL been on a Day of the Dead kick too), so maybe I'll get Steel Plate still, but redo the green with a better metallic green, doesn't look like much detail so it shouldn't be hard to do.

We know that the old style stat cards have been discontinued, as the starters come with Battlecast cards in a little foil pack for each character in the starter. Stickers now show the stats of each figure/vehicle as the old stat cards used to. At present, we still don't have a good answer as to whether non-starter figures come with their respective Battlecast cards or if we'll have to buy packs of cards when they're available to try to fill out our collector albums.

Yeah the paint that they use on him is the wrong paint....looks like i'm going to have to fix mine when i get him.

Am I the only one who now LOVES Steel Plated Smash Hit? I love green and I love his coloring now. I though Nitro Stealth Stinger was my only day 1 variant but now I'll get SP Smash Hit. I also now want High Volt if he is out day 1.

Lol yeah wtf happend with Steel Plated Smash Hit? I was under the impression it was going to be more metallic-y like the Sprocket that BB had. Whats going on there?

It's nice to see physical packages though. I dunno about anyone else but when new games come out, there's like a bit of stunned/electrifying feel when you first see the new figures on the shelves. It's neat and fun all at the same time.

They likely changed it from the original toy's 3D model to use cheaper materials. I loved Steel Plated Smash Hit at first, but the finished product is one of the cheapest, unfinished looking Skylanders I've ever seen. At least it'll be easier to find the regular version!

Not that his regular counterpart is that better figure-wise but seriously, that isn't metallic green in any possible way.
