Alright, so I did a little messing around with the files for the characters and found the catchphrases for Splat, Thrillipede, Astroblast, and Smash Hit.

Splat - The Art of War!

Thrillipede - All Hands on Deck!

Astroblast - Ready, Set, Glow!

Smash Hit -Let's Rock!

Ah, full of puns as usual.

High Volt is the only one unavailable as of now.

I was expecting astroblast to have some kind of robor or ET voice.

Really good catchphrases (and nice voice actors too but... Won't have them in game so they don't interest me that much).

What do you mean Drek? We've had the voice actors saying lines in game since Giants. Or is it because you live in a different country and won't have the same voice actors?

I've heard High Volt. His voice fits him pretty well.

If your wondering where i found it, It was on a Instagram photo and it was before we even knew his catchphrase he said Protect and Surge and whats his catchphrase? Protect and Surge. So it must be legit.

If it's true about Smash Hit's voice actor, then Maurice LaMarche-lander won't be alone any longer. Was waiting for a Rob Paulson-lander to go along with Night Shift. Everyone else just sounds like an average Skylander.

I'll play with italian voice actors (which are considered to be some on the best in the world and I personally couldn't agree more) which have done an awesome for so far except for a couple annoying mistakes (such as Freeze Blade and Chill having the exactly same catchphrases just like Thunderbolt and Free Ranger).
They even actually often match the english voices.

They also use a lot of voices which gladly surprised me since I thought they would have went cheap and used the same people over and over again not to mention sometimes you can hardly tell it is the same guy voicing different characters (for example Gulper, Hot Head, Wash Buckler and Wham-Shell are all voi ed by the same person but he does a marvelous work!).

I put Enigma on the Portal a week or so ago and was shocked to hear a brand new voice actor voicing him!
Can't wait to hear SuperChargers voices!

Heh! I came close on guessing Splat's one liner. I said "Art Attack" and I felt it was too controversial as it's a heart attack pun but it was the best I could come up with. "Art of War" is far more intelligent although not very exciting to shout out while slopping paint on chompies. It all depends on what sort of character she is and the other stuff she says in game really.

Also, is that a new voice actress for Splat? It's such a short clip but I don't recall any of the other female Skylanders sounding quite like that.

Legendary voice actor Rob Paulson, he's been doing fantastic voice work for almost 30 years at this point, and you have almost definitely heard a show with him in it. The most recent example I can think of is the new TMNT show, where he voices donatello.

The Art of War?? Great now we're never gonna hear the end of the whole Splat is an Inkling conspiracy theory. She does have to do with fighting with paint and colors so I see where this conspiracy was coming from. Also something about her is off, maybe it's her big head and very slim body I don't know what it is that's odd.

Astroblast sounds great! Same as Smash Hit! Splat sounds like a regular Skylander, and Thrillipede does not sound too good.

I agree with LittleWizard. Those were my opinions.

But how can i deal with Smash Hit SCREAMING every time I put him on the portal?

I LOVE Splat's and Astroblast's voices. Thrillipede sounds kinda weird and Smash Hit... well, at least he doesn't have a deep voice, 'cause you know, small guy deep voice.

Astroblast sounds too bland... can't wait for his gameplay though. But WOW I love Thrillipede's voice, it's not perfect but it fits him.

Splat must be creating minions with her paint or something.

Voice acting is same decent--Astroblast is least favorite. I actually like Smash Hit because it STANDS OUT of the pack. He's obviously got a Napoleon complex.

Why do you not like Astroblast? My least favorite is Thrillipede

It's the air of familiarity than anything else...again first impressions...subjective and all.

Splat sounds absolutely adorable. I want to cuddle her now.

Thrillipede sounds kind of like a generic muscular hero dude. It's okay I suppose.

Astroblast's voice is really cool sounding. I just wish his character model had more of a space-helmet design for his head/face, then his voice would've fit him perfectly.

Smash Hit's voice is funny and full of personality. I can see his screaming getting annoying after repeated uses though...

I was hoping Astroblast's would be "Light the way!"

I'm not entirely sure DC has the same VA and Gurglefin. The VA I think is Maurice LeMarche, the VA for Night Shift.

She's listed as one of the celebrity actors in the game along with Josh Duhamel (who voices High Volt).

She was also mentioned at e3 as a voice actor for a new character. Now that we have a voice clip you can tell she is Splat.

I would buy that skylander. No matter what or who it was I would buy it.

If Johnny Yong Bosch voices a Skylander, it should be a frog. And his catchphrase should be "I'm a frog..." in a disappointed tone.
