Personally, I am preordering the Wii or Xbox 360 dark edition to get the figures then sell the portal and disc, as I will hopefully get the Wii U dark to play. I will also buy the 3DS version to play as it has online. What will you be buying?

I've preordered the Wii U Dark Edition, and I'd also like to get the 3DS version. I may get the Dark Edition for a non-Nintendo console in order to get Dark Super Shot and Dark Sea Shadow, in which case I'd change my preorder to the regular Wii U Starter Pack.

Gotta have the best version, so I'm going for the Wii U as usual. I'm also getting both the 3DS and Wii games, though.

Xbox One, definitely. Better online and I prefer the controllers to the PS4. I'll wait until the week before release to decide if a pre-order is in order to see what stores have to offer. Barring a good deal, I'll wait till Black Friday for the game itself. I will take advantage of some of the good figure deals at release though. This year no variants, seriously considering not even getting them all, but I do really like some of the figure designs. The online announcement is a big decider for me as well as two player split screen so me and my son can race.

The Wii U Dark Edition. However, I don't like Donkey Kong and/or his dark counterpart that much. So I intend to sell Dark Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and his Dark Barrel Blaster on eBay, and try to buy Dark Hammer Slam Bowser, his Dark Clown Cruiser, and the Dark Sea Shadow

Wii u and 3ds normal edition. dont think ill be getting dark editions sadly

I kinda want Wii but I would rather get Xbox 360 for one, Sea Shadow and 2. So i can play with everyone here!

I'm still debating because my collection wall is in the basement of my home I've made it to a game room but the wii is down there and if I don't do any new levels I hardly go down. Now my wii u is on the main floor and I don't have any skylanders up there so either I'm gonna move the wii u downstairs and no more playing while people are watching tv or just keep bringing skylanders up for downstairs. Either way wii u because of the graphics and content

Plan on getting the WiiU system...but being the collector...having to spend more money then i want to...getting all dark Starter sets release day...then getting the standard sets later on when there prices go down.....or maybe on black friday..don't know yet.

Im planning on getting the Dark Wii U Starter

This is one time I may actually get two of this game. I want the Wii U version for DK and to play as Bowser, while I do still like the PS3 version for more trophies and to play on my personal PS3.

PS3, the only console I own. Dark Edition for the figures, vehicles & Kaos trophy. Also getting standard edition for the game and figures as well as vehicles.

I was hoping someone had a breakdown in here of the most tactical, least overlapping way to purchase the game. PS4 and Xbox 1 are gonna have superior online support, but I want the Nintendo characters as well, so multiple versions are in order. Not sure which ones I toget at this point though. Probably a PS4 version, Wii U dark, and one of the packs with Bowzer in it (not a dark Bowzer). The Spitfire/Stealth Elf is completely backwards in the Wii versions from what is prefer though. This is gonna get messsssssssssy.

I'm getting the Wii U and Wii darks. I'll try to sell Dark Spitfire and Dark Hot streak, and use that to cover the cost of dark Stealth Elf and Dark Sea Shadow. Then I'll try to sell the extra Kaos trophy, and try to get normal edition Bowser and clown cruiser and normal D.K. and barrel blaster.

PS360 are obsolete and have been replaced at my place so not in the discussion. Nintendo just doesn't have nearly as good of an online experience for those not die hard Nintendo spawn. I shocked people are still riding on the Wii. Per inflation, Video Systems are actually at an all time low in the states, so not sure what people are waiting for.

But no preordering for me this time. If I wait for November I can get this game for 40-60% off when it goes on sale as they do every year. Pays for figures/vehicles.

For the first time since SA, I'm actually considering getting the 3DS version... mostly for Bowser.

If you think for ONE SECOND that I'd play it on anything other than a Nintendo console, you're OUT OF YOUR MIND. Been playing Nintendo since N64 days (When I was 5). But I've played other systems too... I just don't OWN any (but my bro owns a 360 and the first 3 playstations)

Wii U Dark Edition Day One and then when it goes on sale the Wii Standard edition.

I'm getting the regular Wii U, plus I might get the Wii dark starter pack for Christmas or something.

Just pre-ordered my DE SSC starter pack for PS3 today at GameStop. Got tired of waiting for TRU to put out their pre-order cards.
I also figured that with $25 down, I only have to pay $75 + tax which would be $105 plus change.....give or take.
Either way, I'll be getting one, plus the SE starter pack and whatever else comes out that day.
I'm looking forward to playing it later on.
