i never completely watched the first two movies because i wasn't interested but
i saw more of despicable me 2 than the first one and it looked like a huge embarrassment
i can't imagine what the third one will be like

DM2 was very embarrassing, it wasn't even "despicable" me anymore.

I honestly thought Despicable Me 2 was really funny.

Despicable Me 3 has been confirmed for a long while now, even before the Minions movie came out.

I'll see it, I really enjoyed the first Despicable Me and I liked the second one. the Minions movie was just meh.

Just posting this here since I don't really want to post this in the "minion harassment" topic:

Me personally, I thought the minions were used perfectly in the first Despicable Me film. They were funny, charming, and delivered very well for comic relief characters. The second film overused them due to the fact that the had a central role in the plot, but they were still used efficiently for the most part. The Minions movie only had a few moments where I was legitimately laughing. I feared the film was going to get tiresome with just minion humor throughout an entire movie, and it definitely got tiresome.

My only big problem with them is how they're EVERYWHERE. They pretty much went through what I call the "Frozen effect," where people thought they were just fine when they first came out, but as soon as they got insanely popular, people either love them more than anything, or want them off the face of the planet. And only a minority of fans, including myself, like the thing itself, but not the following it has created, both positive and negative. I like the minions, but I hate seeing them everywhere in merchandising and advertisements. And the worst part is that both the following and the hate for them are ruining the Despicable Me films, which are really great films(ESPECIALLY the first one), with or without the minions.

The first are and second movies are pretty good but I guess riding that band wagon joke is suppose to be cool?

I have yet to watch the second, I heard from my BF that he found it better than the first.

I don't really see anything wrong with a 3rd, unless it's all about the minions...Like main character wise...Oh wait...

I cant wait for the third movie and I love the minions !!!

I'm hoping the movie involves Minion genocide.

I feel like I'm the only one who still likes the minions. One day it seems like everyone loves the minions, next day everyone hates them. It's just about as quick as Electro's turn against Spidey in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
