It seems like you're what's wrong. If he came up in a non-sarcastic fashion and offered help, then you were rude to him, I don't see how he's the bad guy.

It seems like you're what's wrong. If he came up in a non-sarcastic fashion and offered help, then you were rude to him, I don't see how he's the bad guy.

I kind of glazed over that, i was the guy who got the attitude for trying to help.

There's actually no need to be rude when someone offers you help.

You could have just said, no thanks i don't think you'd be able to help.

Most of the kids in my school.

To be honest, my schools actually pretty chill as I don't really see people misbehave much. But there's this group of people in my year that are just plain douches, though I barely see them apart from the occasional lunch break and class. One of them who I "dislike" the most keeps shouting things from Vines in class "e.g. 21, cocoa" for no reason whatsoever. Even worse is that someone I know told on him last year and now the guy who keeps shouting Vine stuff in class shouts "Mr Walker!" towards him whenever he's in the same class as the Vine guy. I won't say any more, otherwise your heads will be like "I don't understand any more".

There's more stories I could tell about idiotic classmates, but I'll just leave it at that for now.

a girl claimed to be asexual because she didn't have a boyfriend at that moment.
Girls were complaining about being cold during a fire alarm. They were all wearing yoga pants, a thin t-shirt and white sketchers.
There are people who are totally convinced that whatever game theory says is true.
People who made fun of you for your religion.
Thought sexual harassment was funny, because middle school never enforced rules.

The last one was from my own personal experience.

You can choose to correct them and help them out (which could also get you points for class participation) or you can just stop giving a crap and focus on your own studies. If you feel like people in your school are really like this, don't concern yourself with them and instead focus on your own future and studies.

I had dumb obnoxious people in my schools too. I'd either help them out if they had a genuine question/concern or just try to ignore it when they were acting out. Nobody had a problem with me while I focused on my own studies and well being.
