Either way, at first looked like a fusion of Boom Jet and Free Ranger, but now I noticed they're purple. And with a sharp, straight beak.

It seems like SuperChargers' bases will be heavily modified by the engines encased on them.

Seems like the wings are equipped with a chain of blades that ends with one that can be held in each hand.

I see they are continuing with their crappy paint job "feature" again this year. You would think a prototype would be pretty close to perfect ... but that looks like a Wave 5 paint job right there.

Wow this game sure is getting interesting. First "Spitfire" cause we don't know if it is him, has the weird metal attachments on his wings and now the bird has blades on his or her wings. Seems like a theme were gonna be seeing this year, Skylanders will have strange armor all over their bodies.

He looks like a mix between Jet-Vac and Blades IMO. I think Wing Warrior is going to be one of the first Air Skylanders to be good at close range, but little or no ranged attacks. But if he does get a ranged attack, I think it will be holding his wings in front of him and shooting some feathers like Flashwing's Tertiary Attack (but in front of him, not behind him).
Also, it looks like he has a mechanical left eye. I could be wrong though, I can't see his left eye very well.

He also looks and could be a girl, guys. Something on the face and the wide eyes.

I honestly don't think this is bad at all.

The lighting may make it seems weird but not "crappy" by any mean.

He's pretty badass! If he's already painted and such, he could be at the reveal tomorrow, which would make him a wave one character!

I think he/she's holding some knives or daggers but also have metallic fathers attached to the wings.

Wouldn't say they are part of his/her body though.
Simply an accessory.

No, but it's obvious. There are bound to be people at exclusive game reveals who will post content early without even realizing that it's not supposed to be posted until the embargo is over.

Which could also explain why they decided to announce it so late.

"We are announcing it later, but hey, it's also coming out sooner"

And if I understood correctly it would also almost coincide with LEGO Dimensions' release.

Since Skylanders games are normally released in October, if the September release rumor holds true, we'll be able to get our hands on this game up to a month earlier than normal. If your birthday is in August, requiring you to wait a month to get the new game in September, you can't possibly have been getting any of the other games as they came out, since your birthday precedes the normal releases by a couple of months. Worst case scenario, you'll have to wait an extra month. Best case scenario, you'll actually get this year's game this year.

While that would be quite amazing it also feels like wishful thinking to me, not to be a derby downer but if the portal owner's pack is anything like that of giants we would only receive the game and the vehicle with spitfire.

It's a nice lookng character. I approve of it! Not sure if I would get him or her right away as I'm not into Avians at all (actually I hate birds) but I don't see myself avoiding this one forever like I do with Countdown either.

I thought it was a male at first, but it's most likely a female. So it seems that Jet Vac has a new girlfriend perhaps? Let the waifu and pairings begin!

I think the same.

She seems to have a quite sterotyped female bird face with chubby cheeks, short and large beak and big dewy eyes.

Awesome charscter. She definitely looks like racer with her helmet and is possibly wearing a jump suit.

The chain it has kinda Makes me think it's like a bike chain. Spitfire did have exhaust wings, maybe their metal addition are all parts of vehicles.

You can now see her in the poster. Really just sharp wing tips like Flashwing.

Both of the figures leaked have 2 things in common. The one already mentioned, and is easy to notice, is the engine on the base for both figures. The 2nd thing is that both characters have metal/mechanical augmentations. The both metal that looks like working parts on their wings, including screws,and they both have metal elsewhere.

So then the question is, will all the figures have mechanical augmentations this time around? If so, how will that work with the tech element, since already there 'thing'. And it seems like it wouldn't fit too well with magic..maybe light would be strange too. Will the element aspect of the character be downplayed some this time around?

My prediction of the new skylanders name: WhipWing

Has anyone looked down for the base? It seems to be the same squished element as the prototype. I see bits of white there, so perhaps the bases will be the same color as their elements?

Whenever I zoomed in super close to the image of the air skylander, it did seem as if the base was actually red, but it may be used as a placeholder on the prototype figures. Judging by the cover art though it could well be red or possibly yellow?

I belive he/she will have a ranged attack...those are throwing knifes in his/her hands.
