What are your reasons there should or Shouldn't be a S5 Gill grunt

We're already getting another Stealth Elf, might as well go for the whole shebang.

I don't mind getting another Stealth Elf because she's really strong and also very fast. But Gill Grunt is just... blant. He doesn't have any attacks that make me go ''wow''.

Do we really need motivation not to want a S5 Gill Grunt...?

I think 4 versions of the same characters (not counting Gill Runt and case variants) are enough.
Give more love to S1 only (Voodood, Fright Rider, Dune Bug...) if you have to make reposes.

If we don't get a S5 Gill Grunt, I cant believe I'm saying this, but I'd be ok with it because his new wow pow kicks ass. I think the reason why we got S4 GG in TT is so different Water Skylanders can get a repose (Like Riptide and Zap). All the Skylanders who got a repose in TT probably won't in SC.

No way they won't.
He's the Skylands' God after all.

I'm still on the boat that stopping at S3 is the way to go. One Wow Pow for each path, more than enough to balance the character properly if they don't screw up. And there are more than enough S1s and S2s to supply reposes at this point. LC and Minis are a special case, and should really be saved by who looks the best if at all.

Which is why Gill Grunt is a false prophet and Chop Chop is the true mentor of how a figure should aspire to be :U One repose for each gameplay, and an Eon's Elite if you want shiny cool paintjob. Done.

Gill Grunt ain't done until we have an army of 200 different Gill Grunt figures.

Well, one reason no one else mentioned: Gill Grunt is not VV's character. If you look at Swap Force's version they really didn't get his mechanics right. I realize this reasoning flies out the window with Stealth Elf being included in the starter pack, but still... I'd prefer each company stuck to reposes of their own creations since up to this point they haven't really maintained consistency in gameplay mechanics when they reproduce the other developer's characters.

you missed a reason its that he is gill grunt lel

gil grunt underwater adventure of saving the gillmen might be a good reason for another....but then again a series 2 punk shock could serve the same purpose....or maybe a wham shell as he is a prince of the deep.....i don't really want another gill grunt but i'm sure we will get one

s4 wham shell would be awesome for sure.

I'm betting that only three reposes is all any Skylander's gonna get.

I can't believe they traded in spyro for a walking fish....
He's still my 2nd favourite character though, lol.
